We approach Chiropractic care from a neuro/biomechanical approach that is strongly supported by the latest scientific studies. We use Chiropractic manipulation to treat musculosketetal conditions, relieve pain, improve function by restoring freedom of motion, and improve nervous system function by manipulating both the spinal column and the body's extremities. We use treatment methods that combine osseous manipulation (hands on and instrument adjustment) with electrotherapy, including laser, as well as soft-tissue techniques (Active Release Technique, Graston Technique) to address restrictions and dysfunction due to adhesion buildup from acute injuries and repetitive strains. Industry as well as athletes benefit from relief, prevention and functional rehabilitation. Common complaints that are treated are: headaches, TMJ, spinal pain, rotator cuff injuries, golf and tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, hip and sciatic pain, knee pain, and plantar fascitis. Behavior modification, diet and exercise are addressed during treatment. Upon resolution of the complaint, the patient is released, given recommendation for preventive maintenance or referred back to their original chiropractor. In some instances where additional tests or opinion are needed, a referral to the appropriate facility will be made.
