OMG! There haven't been one time that I've had an appointment at Rockdale Family practice that took over an hour to get back in the dr.room. this place over book people. My appt was at 2:30 it is now 3:19 and I'm still sitting in the waiting g area. Once checked in it only took them less than 3 mins to accept my Co pay. My husband tried to warn mm e several years ago but I keep coming back because of.convenience. There are 18 people in waiting area. Some saying they have been sitting since 2:00. This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Tammy is horrible! If I could give this place 0 stars I would! She told my mother not to come back because her bill wasn't completely paid due to an car accident claim and then had the nerve to charge a no show fee. Tammy was very nasty with her. She did like the doctor Dr. Hoodboy but will never go back because of the rudeness of the staff.

I've never been treated so rudely!

My husband and I scheduled new patient appointments on referral from a family member. We really don't know what the doctors are like because we didn't stick around that long. Every word out of their staff members mouths are rude. No one cared that we were canceling and leaving, it was as if it was expected.

It's amazing that so many people are reporting the same rude behavior! What gives? Why isn't anyone doing anything about it? The best way to make changes in any business and to send a strong message is to stop doing business with this office until concrete changes are made. I came in two weeks ago after I stop gong for 2 years and the attitude is the same. I'm old fashion and I agree with my elders: "if it wasn't for the customers, patients etc.; they wouldn't have a job!!!

Huge disappointment! They never sent a bill to my sister in 2012, never collected co pay at time of visit, then sent her bill for multiple copays or whatever in march 2013. Bill was $270. She's on SS and has a tight budget , so she called and set up pay arrangement for $50/mo. Sent in first payment and was refused an appointment when she was VERY sick, because of $200 bal which was on an agreed upon arrangement! Dr Asser very nice, but do doctors know the way the business side is running??? They'll get there $, but will be changing doctors!!!

The worst at returning calls, I would not recommend using this practice due to my personal experiences with the practice as a whole as well as the billing department… this practice not only sends me a bogus invoice once, but they have sent it twice for a co-pay that I have already paid during the visit. Save yourself the troubles and go somewhere else… google is a better Dr then this place, and they don’t try to rip you off!

I am Diabetic and on both meds and shots. My work recently changed their prescription provider and I found that they would not cover my meds until it was too late. When I called the office to try and get this resolved I was told that I would have to leave a message and they would get back to me. I did so and never heard back from them. I tried to call them back and was told that I could not speak to the Dr. or nurses as they were all in a meeting and that she would NOT interupt them. I explained to her that I had been out of my meds for 2 days at that point and she again offered for me to leave a message or keep trying to call back to see if they were out of their meeting. At that point my sugar levels were over 400 after takeing my shots. The receptionist seemed unconcerned with my health or needs. As if to her I was just another number that had no one behind it. The front staff has always been short with me and if not for the fact that my Dr. has always been good to me and taken care of my needs I would have gone elsewhere LONG ago.

Worse staff ever. Never say hello even if you do.Messages very seldom get returned. Dr Goyco is the best dr. There but not worth the stress of dealing with her rude non- friendly nurse. I changed Dr. ask for a dr. she didn't work with and still got her. I decided to go elsewhere. I could tell more but its just to frus

I took my 84y/o grandmother to...

I took my 84y/o grandmother to this practice for a routine health complaint and to refill prescriptions in early May 2012. This was my first visit to this place. As another viewer said, I had to be the one to greet the receptionist (as none of them cracked a smile!) and the nurse who tended to my grandmother before she saw the MD was extremely rude and completely brushed her off. I used to work in a medical office and I've personally been in various types of medical offices before. This is the 1st time EVER I have encountered such a negative place. To make matters worse, we arrived approx. 12 min before her appt time and we actually had to WAIT nearly 30 min before being seen and we received no explanation or apology for it. Unfortunately, my grandmother's primary MD was out on extended leave and the MD who saw her was okay, but not great--and as my grandmother told me afterward, is nothing like her original doctor. I also found the lobby area to be extremely confined and ridiculous that the office had to use window a/c units. I found out that they have failed to fix the central air unit for some time! After this visit, I will be certain to NEVER come to this practice. I'm grateful to my current family practice and will stick with them for sure!

Extremely rude staff!

I have been going to this office for 14 years now. I absolutely love dr. Kassam and dr. Akmal. However, the office staff and nurses are extremly rude! 1 example- as I'm signing in for my appt, I smile and say,"hi, how are you?" to the receptionist and she looks at me, rolls her eyes and walks away.

The office manager is rude also. I've gone to her about things that have been said and happened to me and she doesn't care. I will NOT be going back to this office! I really hope that dr. Kassam gets his own practice!
