Truly a five star service. The semi annual service this time was prompt and professional.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Last year they serviced my downstairs aircondition unit. The repairman said I had a leak somewhere and stated that I probably needed to replace the unit. He also said his company had financing. He replaced the freon, charged me $246 and said that if I had problems within the next 30 days his company would come out for free. Well, I did have problems but it was approx 40 days later. I called Peppers and they said they would have to charge me as if they had never serviced the unit because it had been longer than 30 days. I told them I would use another company.

The other company sent a serviceman out who immediately detected a leak near the outside unit. I discussed with him that approx 40 days earlier Peppers had serviced the unit and replaced the freon. The serviceman stated that he didn't understand why they did not detect the very obvious leak. He charged me $85.

I feel today that Peppers took advantage of me and took my money.

We called this company because our heat pump was not working properly. The technician came, replaced a few old wires and left. He also did an inspection without checking any electrical components. The pump quit again a few hours later. It was shortly after closing time on a Friday. They refused to come back and check it, leaving us with 2 small children, no heat in 30F weather. We had to spend the night in a hotel. The next day they took 3 more hours to come over and check it. By then we already had an idea of what was wrong (Defrost circuit board). The technician kept insisting on the fan motor ($450). We got another technician who checked the electrical components and thermostat and found several misconnections and parts (installed by Peppers, years ago). With only $160, our system was fixed!!! Peppers owners do not speak to customers, they only communicate via a receptionist!!!
Incredibly incompetent, unprofessional, and uncaring. I believe ownership has changed!!

I had a bad experience with this company. They came out and diagnosed my AC problem, replaced the coolant and charged me $242.00. In about 40 days, I had the same problem. I called them and they said that I waited too long - that I should have called back within 30 days. Well, I didn't experience the problem within 30 days. They were going to charge me all over again for something that I felt they should have stood behind given the amount of lapsed time. I felt so ripped off. I believe that they did this because I am female and just didn't know. I feel so hurt.

These guy are fast, honest and knowledgeable. They came out the same day I called and fixed my air. Thanks a lot Peppers.

Peppers Heating and Air was very knowlegable and professional. They were always on time and impressed us more than any other company we have used. We finally found a company that solved our air conditioning proplems. We highly recommend Peppers!
