Professionalism

The front desk staff not very welcoming, they always look over worked and unhappy. The office manager is the worst, too loud and talk down to customers. Way too many billing errors and takes too long to get a response back when you have issues. Kids play area is the attractive feature here. Don't waste your time.

Not what it use to be, especially on the business side. Kids have been here for over 6 years. On my child's visit today, I asked about work and submitted to the insurance company and rejected because it had already been done. I asked why was this not caught by the office when verification for work was done, I was informed by the Office Manage (Amy) that verification of having insurance coverage, NOT actual verifying procedures is the only obligation the office has to a parent (i.e. checking to see if insurance is valid) any additional pre-verification, follow-up with insurance on denials, etc is a courtesy to the patient and not part of their job. It's my responsibility. Yes, it's on me to read the files and know what my child has already done and if it will be covered the next time they suggest it. REALLY. My insurance company has stated differently. Providers such as this, sign a contract to do work for the patients, i.e. verification or work, etc. So if they feel like doing the verification before doing the work, consider them doing you a favor... not necessarily their job. The Office manager Amy is condescending (using a high pitch cheerful voice while being rude...doesn't make what you saying none the less ruder) She seems to be following some sort of script instead of actually talking to people. Amy also told me: by all means find a practice that I feel would fit my family needs when it comes to their policies of verification. In other words don't expect them to do any more work then they are already doing. Taking the office manager , Amy's advice and by ALL means moving on. Looking for a place where I my kids are more than a courtesy.
