The process involves Dr. Jovanovic applying a thin layer of composite bonding material to the surface of the affected tooth, then using a curing light to harden the material. Once Dr. Jovanovic applies the bonding material, she literally molds it onto the tooth so that it looks complete natural. He was then accepted to The University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center to complete the dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. As part of his training, Dr. Bennetts received his medical degree and also completed an internship in general surgery. After completion of his program, he served aboard the USS Eisenhower as an active duty Naval officer, providing oral surgery services to operational sailors. It was there that his family welcomed their third child, Delaney, who continues to keep everyone on their toes. He remains an active-duty officer of the United States Navy.
