Bed & Board At Shoalwater Kennel

I'm a student at Allegheny College and Shoalwater is always there for my dogs at the beginning and end of each year. My dogs tend to bark in the hotel room when we leave them alone (which isn't allowed). The owner is very nice, and even my skittish/shy dog seems to like her. The dogs have indoor/outdoor access and raised beds. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are hard to beat, too.

The facility is not to bad, nice dog runs with doggie doors so the dogs can roam free in their kennel. We boarded our two dogs together in one kennel. They provide food and a raised "cot" for the dogs. The only negatives were that when we picked up the dogs they reeked of urine. When we asked about just bathing them when we dropped them off they wanted to charge $45 for our lab and $30 for our jack russell. So we opted for no bath... had to bathe them as soon as we walked in the door at home. We were charged $25 a day for both dogs, ouch! The lady running it was nice and lives on the premises.
