After my email correspondence with Dan Hensel (email@example.com) I can say I will never do business with Southern Car Company, nor would I ever recommend anyone to go here. I wish I could post the screen capture of his email thread for all to see. I emailed an offer through their website to get a reply saying "16900 is what it will sell for because its very hard to find...thanks for the offer though." My reply "16900 is 2500 over book in excellent condition, I have a credit union pre approval and ready to make a deal. Whats the bottom dollar to get it out the door this week?" And here is where the rude remark from Dan comes in "Doesn't matter what book is sir...that's the market. You'll never buy one that cheap. I sell everyone I get...usually fast too. Good Luck". After explaining to him that there all over auto trader from here to GA for book price with less miles he did not want to speak anymore. Good luck with your high profit margin Dan, have a good day Sir!
"Prestige- distinction or reputation " When it comes to service and commitment to their customers- their name is well earned. When some might have washed their hands of a situation- the guys at Prestige Motoroworks went above and beyond to take care of our situation. You won't find more honest and prestigious businessmen in this field- and that's a promise.
5 yrs ago I set out to by a new vehicle to get back and forth to my job. I visited several used car lots in the local area to see were i might find a good car at an affordable price. Arriving at the caubles auto sales, I was greeted by a verry nice salesman, shook my hand, introduced hiimself and to look around and if i had any questions just let him know. ( now thats what i like, " no pressure") so off i go to splurge the car lot. after viewing several very nice and well maintained cars on the lot, i beganed him the , I to realize that no matter what car i looked at or how old the car was they were all only driven between eitght and ten thousand miles a year. (excellant) . the salesman returned, asked me if i seen anythig that i liked, I showed him the truck that i wanted, he gave me a price, I knew that I saw a couple trucks on other lots a not as nice for a little less maybe, but they had double the miles. I told him my credit was not that great, he said " well eveeryone has some credit , but not all of it can be bad" . the owner worked with me to get in the truck, and I have no regrets. they also were very understandding when i went through hard times and was not able to make a payment. Since then I have bought a car for my wife and my daughter from the caubles and they are the best cars we have ever owned.
I stopped in to look at their selection and I ran into Dan the owner...what a great guy and full of knowledge! I will be sending my friends and family to see him!
I loved dealing with this group. Very professional and patient, even when I lost the keys to the trade-in, in my sweatshirt pocket and we searched for over an hour for the keys! I recommend doing business with Carolina Auto Sports. Everyone was so nice and it is worth the drive to Concord, NC!-Anita Y.
At first I thought this was the best place I had gotten a car...very friendly and did everything they could to get me in a car, even though I had no credit. I still owed 1/2 the down payment and told them I would bring the money when I got my first check in May. I told him the date of the first check. He asked for a check for goodwill. I gave him the check. His words were " Don't worry, I will not deposit the check unless you just don't bring the money. You will know before I deposit it if that becomes necessary". Well, he deposited the check 2 days before my payday, which is when I told him I would bring the money, did not have the common courtesy to contact me before he did, therefore I had a overdraft fee at my bank. This has cut me short on making my first payment. Obviously, they just tell you what they need to just to get you into a car and then don't have the respect to let you know before they are getting ready to do something that they said they wouldn't. I love my car, but a business's word is it's life, and I will never buy from them again, nor recommend anyone else to.
