Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure during which the internal structure of a joint is examined for diagnosis and treatment of problems inside the joint. In arthroscopic examination, a small incision is made in the patient’s skin through which pencil-sized instruments that have a small lens and lighting system (arthroscope) are passed. Arthroscope magnifies and illuminates the structures of the joint with the light that is transmitted through fiber optics. It is attached to a television camera and the interior of the joint is seen on the television monitor.
Hip Replacement
I had a full hip replacement.. and could not be more pleased with Dr McInnis. He's great! He did an excellent job for me before, during and after my surgery. And he truly loves what he does -- it shows in his concern for his patients, and his patience in taking time to address all questions & concerns. I heartily recommend him!
Knee Replacement
Dr McInnis is the best! He is caring, concerned and professional. I had both knees replaced and did my pre-op and post-op exercises and have had no issues. His staff is great and efficient. I would recommend Dr John McInnis to anyone who needs knee replacement surgery.
Knee Arthroscopy
The knee joint is one of the most complex joints of the body. The lower end of the thighbone (femur) meets the upper end of the shinbone (tibia) at the knee joint. A small bone called the patella (kneecap) rests on a groove on the front side of the femoral end. A bone of the lower leg (fibula) forms a joint with the shinbone.

Physical Therapy
I haven't been to Dr Howard in a number of years but had to see him on several occasions for difficult issues. The treatment plan always worked. I also found him to be genuinely caring and to always have several less invasive alternatives (physical therapy, course of drugs, etc) to try before anything major. This saved me a lot of pain, time and money. If I still lived nearby I would not hesitate to return to him
Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, occurs when inflammation and scar tissue invade the shoulder joint. It can start with inflammation of the joint that leads to scarring, or in some cases the scarring happens with little inflammation.
Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow is the common name used for the elbow condition called lateral epicondylitis. It is an overuse injury that causes inflammation of the tendons that attach to the bony prominence on the outside of the elbow (lateral epicondyle). It is a painful condition occurring from repeated muscle contractions at the forearm that leads to inflammation and micro tears in the tendons that attach to the lateral epicondyle.
