Dr. Ambrosino has been my podiatrist for about 15 years through a variety of foot and ankle problems including tarsal tunnel syndrome, bursitis, plantar fascitis, and a stress fracture.

He is extremely knowledgable and analytical. He has the ability to pay attention to detail while seeing the big picture. 

He is focused, thoughtful, patient, always willing and able to explain, always attentive to both the patient and the medical problem. 

My impression of the staff and office: friendly and efficient, welcoming and comfortable. 

I recommend this doctor and practice without reservation.

Dr A saved my foot!

I had injured my foot on vacation and ended up in a cast from the emergency room. All was fine except the cast was cutting a hole in the bottom of my foot. Being a diabetic, this was not a good position to be in.

Once I got back home, I started search for a foot care specialist and chose one out of the phone book. This is how i found what would turn out to be a doctor that stands out above the rest.

My foot was in real bad shape and heavily infected.

Dr. Ambrosino' care and knowledge saved my foot from more severe problems that would have ultimately resulted, in my opinion, in amputating part of my foot later down the road.

11 years has passed and I am still with Dr. A and will always appreciate what he has done and continues to do for my health.

The staff is also very caring and a pleasure to see everytime I WALK into his office.

Dr Ambrosino is fantastic. He is kind and takes the time to really get to know and listen to his patients. He has performed graft jacket surgery on my achilles tendon and recently met me at his office on a HOLIDAY weekend after an injury to my foot. The office staff is friendly and professional. They took care of everything scheduling my sugery from insurance questions to after care. In my opinion there is no other like Dr A - he is a doctor because he truly cares about patients and it is obvious from the first visit. I wish he were a GP so I could go to him for all my "issues".

I would and DO recommend Dr. Ambrosino to friends and family.

Dr. Ambrosino is a great doctor. I suffer frm very bad -plantar facitis. He always as well as his staff make me feel like family. Thery always ask if there is anything that could make my visit comfortable. Dr. Ambrosino himself always uses a gentle hand when careing for my feet due to they are so painful. He has made my condition get better. I recommend Dr. Ambrosino to anyone out thyere looking for a hard-working compassionate doctor, that makes your visit most comfortable and pain free.

Doc A changed my life. I had a sever skydiving accident in 1994 shattering both heels smashing my right ankle. Untill 2004 I was left with a severe limp, my hip was screwed up from the limp. I was litterly tore up from the floor up.

After many visits of injections, orthotics, and streching excersises I am an new man. My limp is gone I have no more head aches no more chiropratic visits, boots at work wouldn't even last a yr now last over 2 yrs. from even wear. In short he totally changed my quaility of life and thats no joke.

He was kind to a referrel I had sent him. A 3 yr old little girl who to me had feet issues and he looked at her for free since her parents didn't have insurance. And I have refered yet another person to him. And will refer others as they come up. I was a hard case and he was able to fix me. Anyone who can do what he did for me should have referrels and he can have all of mine. Thanks Doc.

A few years ago I had gone to Dr. Ambrosino because my Podiatrist was unavailable. I needed to have my nails trimmed as one or two of them were ingrown. Dr. Ambrosino did this, however, they were way too short going in to the quick of the nails. This made it very difficult for me to walk. He also wanted me to get orthotics, which I said I didn't need since mine were still in pretty good shape. Also, when he came in to the examing room, it appeared he was on something. Couldn't put my finger on it, but it looked like it. He gave both my daughter & myself an uneasy fealing. Will never go back to him.

When my daughter was about 3 I noticed that her ankles looked a little odd when she walked. I asked her pediatrician at the time and I was told she would out grow her condition. I knew that this did not seem right. When we changed medical coverage to Kaiser and we began to look for a podiatrist within Kaiser. My sister recommended Dr. Ambrosino even though he would not be covered through Kaiser. To me, a great doctor is priceless. Dr. Ambrosino gave my daughter, who is now 5, a comprehensive consult and determined that conservative treatment would be the best option, but was very upfront about the possibility of a minor surgery when she is a little older.





Recently my daughter had an ingrown toenail. Dr. A fit her into his schedule the same day and treated her. Her toe healed wonderfully and she had very little discomfort. His follow-up care is top-notch!



We are very happy with the treatment he has given our family and would not change doctors. My daughter loves "Dr. A." and looks forward to seeing him and his wonderful staff.

I have been a patient for 4 years. I had a very bad foot injury. Dr A has preformed 2 surgies on my foot and they have been complete successes. He has great bed side manor and is alway on time.
