This is the best gas/service station in CA. Fast, friendly service and the owner Rick, treats his customers like his own family. I can text him about a car problem and he responds within a couple of hours, if not minutes. I'm a fan for life.
A++++ service with a smile every single time! Gas is available 24 hours a day. They are the only full-service station in Concord....they'll pump your gas, wash your windows, check your oil. Hands down the best mechanics in all of the bay area!
I have been a loyal customer at Johnny's Automotive for several years (5+). With several used cars in our family we have given them thousand's of dollars of business, not to mention referrals. I have to say I was shocked at how I was treated when I brought my car in this week to have it looked at. I brought the car in early (8:00 AM) and told them I did not need the car until the end of the day tomorrow as I could use my husband's car. I called at 3 PM that afternoon (7 hours after they had the car) to find out what might be going on with it, and if there needed to be parts ordered, repairs I understand that it could take the extra day). Tom abruptly told me that he had not even looked at the car and because I told him that I did not need the car back until tomorrow, he probably would not get to the car until the next day. The car was making significant noise when turning and the traction control was going off regularly. I knew that whatever work needed to be done, it was not going to be a very quick or easy fix. I still did not hear back from him the next day, so I called in the afternoon, only to be met by him yelling at me - he did not have it diagnosed yet and would not know whether I could have the car back by the day's end. When I explained that I wasn't happy that he took the car, only to hold on to it and not look at, diagnosis, or fix it and if I had known that he was get to the car at his leisure, I probably would have found someone who would service it in a timely manner. He then in an angry tone, told me just to come and pick up the car. By the way, I still had to pay $100 for a "diagnosis". The rude comments to me and bad customer service is the reason I will not never go back again and I intend let those I have referred there about this.
So my friends, siblings and I were walking to Ultra Gasoline to get some treats. When we got there they lied and said they were closed. Then they finally decided to let one of my friends in but ONLY the white one. We asked to be let in but we were refused service. My brother called them "racist" and they didn't even deny it.
