It's obvious not many people in the area like to workout. This is the ONLY gym in the area that is clean and the equipment is decent. Some of the people that work there are very friendly but the Chicago named Heather needs to take customer service 101. Her attitude and body language is just rude, like asking a question bothers her. I'm thankful that I'm only over here temporary. I could not deal with the lack of fit people in the area.
This gym is very clean, but I would not recommend a membership. The temperature in this gym is dangerously hot. I'm not sure if the air conditioning is in need of service or not, but I'm certain that the air is not turned during parts of the day. The class/stretch room ranges from 78-82 degrees and the main floor stays in the 78-80 range. The thermostat might be set for 74, but the actual temperature is much higher. This has been an ongoing problem beginning in March, 2013. Currently, we're in June, 2013 and the problem has not been resolved. Several members have asked about the high temperatures and we keep getting different stories from the staff. They last "story" was that the air is working, but the staff is not allowed to have the units on throughout the day. The air can only be turned on a certain times. I have noticed that some of the thermostats are off at times. I like to get nice in sweaty when I work out, but mega cardio in 80 degrees is dangerous!! I have left feeling sick more than once. As a long time member, I do like this gym very much and would love to continue my membership if the temperature problem can get resolved ASAP!
This is by far the cleanest gym I have been to. The place looks nice, there are a lot of flat screen tv's and the age range of the members are good to, so I don't feel like I'm hanging out at a college party. They explain their memberships and contracts well so you understand the terms. I am happy I found this gym.
