Worst trash removal company I have ever dealt with. This miss pickups and then when you call them about it, they explain that they cannot come back out until your next pickup. Never do business with this company!!!

I have the same complaint as many others do. Missed trash days. they say they will collect the following week and than they don't take it because I am over my limit on containers. Today no trash cans were dumped because they said they were full of construction material so I called and asked when did weeds, grass clippings, pizza boxes and milk containers become constructions material. Told me I needed to put grass clipping in plastic bags. Is that not that bad for the economy? They are good at taking the money just not the service they say they provide.

Poor customer service- rude and not helpful. Consistently missing trash and recycling pickups, then billing me for services that were never provided. I'm still dealing with them 6 months after cancelling. Such a hassle!

The first week, they picked up. The second week, they drove right on by.
When I called them, they said that they couldn't pick up until the following week on my regular pick-up. So, the following Friday, they picked up.
The next two weeks, no pick-up; which made no sense. After the second week of not picking up, I called "another company" and they got over right away. I then called American Disposal on Monday to cancel.
Three weeks later, I get a bill from American Disposal. I called them, explained that since they did not pick up for me a total of three times, I shouldn't have to pay the bill (which was less than $20). On the first phone call, they acknowledged the issue and were suppose to call me back. They didn't. When I received a second bill, I called them again, and they essentially said "Too bad, you should have called us when we didn't do our job, not wait two and half weeks to cancel so now pay us." Yep, I have to pay them for NOT doing their job.
Horrible company.

American Disposal took over our regular garbage company, and then back-billed us for the entire quarter before they took over, even though we had already paid it We received a ridiculous letter threatening to "confiscate" our garbage cans, even though they are our personal cans. Also, we received numerous robo-calls from them between 6:00 and 6:30 AM!!! Even on a SATURDAY! They weren't collection calls, just reminder calls that they wanted this money. No option to pay over the phone, even. The calls just directed you to pay online. We're finished. This is ridiculous!

I had a contract with Garbage Man Waste Management, and American Disposal took over my business. I have only been with them about a month, and they have forgotten to pick up my trash on two occasions. They are impossible to reach because their headquarters is in a different state. If you are lucky enough to reach someone local, they are not very helpful, and do not offer any solutions to missed pickups. My garbage pick up day is Friday. They missed my pickup on last Friday and it was the hottest weekend of the year so far. My neighbors were complaining of the smell, and I had to take the garbage to the local dump. I left several messages and sent emails, and they are not getting back to me. Yet they are supposed to respond within 24 hours. I do NOT recommend this company at all. I will be returning to Total Disposal.
