We have been going to King's Pizza for the last 6 years and we keep going back! The pizza is great and the family who owns and runs it are even greater. They have quality products that satisfy our pizza cravings. Its not too greasy, not too saucy. (But, if you like it saucy, they can make it that way for you! )They have a variety of other great picks on the menu too. We also go for their chicken fingers. They are tender and saucy and we can't get enough! A great product to satisfy a B-B-Q hankering. Also try their fresh salads, they are FRESH. They also have variety in their salads, our favorite is the Greek with Grilled Chicken on top. YUM! The pricing is great, we feed a family of seven for under $50, and that includes, an xl specialty pizza, an xl cheese pizza/OR an xl pepperoni pizza, a large salad and a 2 ltr of soda. I dont suggest eating there, we always take it home. They are always busy and there are 3 benches in the front of the store that are usually taken. And IF they have made a mistake, they always make it right- right away! The pizza and sides keeps us going back.
I like Villa Nova, Its partialy a memorable place because my girlfriend and I had our first date there. We are both college students so this place is great if your on a budget and you dont want to deal with ritzy 'fruit-cakes' or over priced food. I ushually get a ceaser salad, they are great and affordable and the pasta dishes are simple but very tasty and smell great. The people are always very nice to us and we always enjoy the visit. Yes parking is a pain somtimes, but its not bad becuase they now have a second parking place next door. This is a nice restaurant becuase it is simple, casual and relaxing. Its perfect for college students or anyone that has a tight budget. I always have leftovers, if you dont have left-overs your probley eating too much. I wouldnt recommend this place to entertain work clients or somthing of that nature.
We have lived here in Poindexter Village Apts for 2 years now, and have never had anyone deliver anything to us due to our location. But about a month ago for the first time I called the Grant Ave. Donatos and told them my address, they said "yup we sure do deliver to ya there". I could not believe what I was just told, so not at least once a week we order from there and get it delivered lol. So anyhow my second time ordering from them my order was too dark or crispy you could say, and I asked that it be light when I put the order in. So when I called back to complain the manager said "no problem would you like me to put a credit on your acct. or send you a new order now?" I said send a new one now please, thank you. It arrived 30 minutes later perfectly cooked.
I hope your hungry. I ordered a works with everything and it was a large and I still had change given back and I gave him a twenty dollar bill. So now I'm thinking "oh boy" if its this cheap how is it gonna taste. I sounded like the guy on the office supply commercial. WOW! That's a great pizza!! If you've never been to Joe's Pizza they are located on the north side of east broad street the address is 3020. I can't tell you what you like you'll have to see that for yourself. All I'm saying is if you want a good pizza out of a clean place and a fair price then try Joe's. And then post on here if you hate it our love it. Now I gotta go because I'm full and happy time for a nap. Hey when you go in there tell um L-Dogg sent ya. They will get a kick outta that.
My girlfriend and I thought we would try Ange's out, it was new, local, seemed like it may be nice? We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and banana pepper and a large garden salad. The salad was up to expectations and was generally pretty generous although seemed to be very lettuce heavy (IMHO). The pizza was no better, while I think it may have been much better had it been cooked all the way through, it was fairly doughy. The pepperoni's, banana peppers, mushrooms, looked like they had barely been cooked and the pizza was just barely eatable. Maybe we just had a bad experience, but since this was my first time, I can't assume it gets too much better. Side Note: The guy taking their orders was severely confused and befuddled.
Me and my husband have been coming here for years. I can barely even stomach the taste of ANY pizza but Plank's. My husband goes more for the burgers, he swears by the mushroom swiss burger, I'm always stealing his fries (they have the most awesome fresh cut fries)or as he likes to call them(fair fries). All of this on top of the fact that they have great waiting service. We're usually there for lunch but we've been a few times at night. Daytime is great if you're on the go, we're usually in and out within 30 minutes if we get there before lunch rush.
Joseppi's has been around for years, and its pizza is phenominal. The pricing is so-so, I've had worst pizza for more. They're very much customer friendly, and for the most part will handle most requests. I'm 99.99% left feeling very satisfied. The toppings are great, the specialty pizzas are awesome, and the family styled atmosphere has always kept me coming back. I guess the only bad thing I could even touch upon is that there is a bit too much grease for the pizza, but hey, pizza and grease go together so I can't be too mad. LOL
This is by far the best pizza in Ohio! Their toppings are SO fresh, and their sauce is that perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Their prices are amazing for the quality of the food. Try their lunch specials, the personal pizza, salad and soda for like $6! I could honestly eat here everyday. They've won a bunch of awards from various publications in Ohio for the "best pizza". Give em a try! My only complaint would be the dine-in service can sometimes be slow at lunch and dinner time, but it's worth the wait!
I have been to this location several times and today was my worse experience. was having lunch with my co-workers and had to flag down my server for water and more salad dressing (my salad came with a tablespoon of dressing). I asked for togo containers for the pizza and salad and he only brought me a pizza box and I had to ask for a container for my salad. He mixed up the bills. He was able to correct everything. It just seemed like there wasn't enough people/runners for the lunch rush.
I can't believe I'm the first to write a review for jumbos! They're amazing. I love the Philly cheese steak and the service is beyond amazing! These ladies are so friendly and they get to know their customer base. I moved to the area, and while remodeling my new home my grandfather and I went and are almost regularly, well then after probably about a year I walk in there with my fiancé and the ladies remembered me and remembered I like ranch with my Philly. I love jumbos<3
