Great place, really love it there. Such a great selection of movies and great comfort. Thanks for a great theatre.
The theater I am in smells. Why? There is vomit on the floor. Seats are filthy with smeared who knows what on them.
This theater is prejudiced against those with disabilities. Instead of accommodating to the needs of those with disabilities, the extremely unprofessional and rude general manager criticizes those same people for their disabilities and throws them out of the theater because they are "bothering other patrons," and then refuses to provide corporate HR information when customers are unhappy with the bad service. Also intolerant to those with neurological disorders. One patron had a seizure in the theater during the movie, and instead of providing assistance, the general manager told those with the patron to "quiet them down" and eventually threw the patron out of the theater. Under the ADA of 1990, disability is defined as "...a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity."Title II of the ADA "prohibits disability discrimination by all public entities at the local (i.e. school district, municipal, city, county) and state level." "Under Title III, no individual may be discriminated against on the basis of disability with regards to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation by any person who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation. "Public accommodations" include most places of lodging (such as inns and hotels), recreation, transportation, education, and dining, along with stores, care providers, and places of public displays, among other things."Take note, Cinemark.
love this place! so comfortable and great prices! I think its the best in Columbus.
Fantastic theater. Excellent food bar and staff.
This is a start up company and I plan on opening up this year.
Maybe I just got lucky but... I had a good experience. I ate pizza which was freshly made for me and tasted good. I did not use the bathrooms so I cannot comment on that. My husband and I were the only ones in the theatre and the movie started on time and played without incident. It was quite dark in the theatre and I liked that. The staff did not seem to speak English, but we were able to communicate well enough for the business at hand. This is a theatre where you can see a movie a little after it first comes out at a bargain rate. If you want opulent perfection you should go to an expensive theatre. This is an adequate place for what it is. You get what you pay for and not a bit more.
I reduced going here and started going to screens at the continent as the managers have been rude at cinemark on several occasions, and other then one person the staff is unfriendly Management and staff used to be a lot friendlier and accommodating than the last few years.. Some of them were very nice and helpful but not now.I was going here very frequently with others and we have all decided to give most of our business to the only other dollar theater which is family run and struggling so we are not left with only one here in Columbus. I feel the other place needs and appreciates our business more. Who likes to be taken for granted? Both places have some problems but I do appreciate having As many cheap theaters in town as possible and urge others to spend their spending dollars among them..currently we just have two. I like that the screens has much roomier seating and far less people so I can also sit where I want and get in all the movies unlike at cinemark at times. At screens, I am treated like they appreciate my business unlike at carriage place where they could care less about their long term customers. also parking is far less of a problem and screens has dollar popcorn on Wednesdays.I do however like the remodeling and do go there still sometimes as I see little point in spending more than I have to for movies and this allows us the chance to see more movies than the full price.
