Company was 7 hours late on my move out of my business into storage and I MADE THE MISTAKE OF USING THEM AGAIN. It was because their crew actually did a good job in hot July heat and they took money off my invoice. So to move out of storage I used them again and that was SO STUPID OF ME! Now I see why they have they WORST reviews of any moving company in Columbus.Do yourself a favor - use someone else. Save yourself heartache. Everything the nice salesperson who comes out says IS A LIE!!! They are not family owned. They do not have rave customer reviews, they are not honest and they do not care about you or your move.

Great overall experience! I had to move a piano from Lima to Columbus on a day where the weather was a little dicey. The two movers were professional and very reassuring the whole entire time. Thank you very much!
Great staff and excellent experience with this crew. Highly recommend giving them a call if you are looking for movers

YOU ARE A THIEF!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU TOOK ALL MY STUFF AND DIDN'T DELIVER IT! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GOODS!!!
About five years ago my parents used this company to move out of their house they had lived in for over 25 years and the service was hands down priceless. Because of this, my boyfriend and I hired this same company to move us from a one bedroom apartment to a duplex this past Saturday, February 7th. This was HANDS DOWN the worst experience I've ever had. The customer service was terrible and the two men left my furniture destroyed. The two men that came to our apartment were two hours late and on arrival stated "we weren't supposed to be here, let's get this over with." They made my boyfriend and I seem like an inconvenience even though they were on a paid job. Apparently, the crew that was supposed to move us ran late on a job and these two men were sent in their place, and trust me they made it known. They managed to load up the apartment without incidence and arrived to the duplex. We were quoted a two, maybe three hour job. At this point it was almost two hours into the job. They arrived and immediately took a 20 minute break, smoking at the entrance of the truck, therefore making our belongings reek of cigarette smoke. I have a lot of old, antique furniture. They were carrying a dresser upstairs to the second floor and apparently the dresser was too heavy for them to carry up the stairs without dragging it. Because of the dresser being an antique, I suggested taking the drawers out to lighten the load. One of the men said, "lady the drawers won't make a damn bit of difference" then looked to the second man and stated "it's a saturday, this shouldn't have been my job, I want to get out of here, let's go" and with that, they shoved my dresser up the stairs, not only scratching the dresser the entire way up but they also took a large chunk of wood out of the brand new hardwood floors. After this they again took a 20 minute break. I completely understand needing breaks, however not when it makes my belongings smell of cigarette smoke and me over hearing them through my bedroom window stating "he's doing all the work, I'm gonna smoke another cig and let him keep doing it." The "he" they were referring to was my boyfriend, who im pretty sure did more work than they did and unloaded about half the truck ON HIS OWN. I could go on forever about the absolute terrible service I was provided but I think this paints a sufficient picture. I chose this company because of the above average service my family was provided a few years ago and I also recommended the company to my aunt who has a move scheduled with you next week. Rest assured, I will be recommending she cancel and seek services elsewhere. In fact, when leaving on Saturday, one of your men stated "when you're ready to move, don't call us." And trust me, I will not.
My college age daughters have moved too many times! I wasn't going to deal with it this time & made a wise decision to go with American movers! They made it easy, took care of everything & even moved things for us that weren't part of the original move. I would recommend this company to everyone & I'll be sure to use them again if ever I need to. Thank you for a hassel free move!!
An Unprofessional CompanyI had booked two people and a truck (26 feet long) with All My Sons for moving our 2BR townhouse across the town on Sunday 3/23/14 at 12:30PM. The deal was confirmed on Tuesday 3/18 and included labor for loading and unloading, and driving the truck for $350 for 2 hours of labor, plus 1 hour of their travel time. Any extra labor would be $109 per hour for the two men. No truck showed up at my home at 12:30PM on Sunday. I tried to reach them through phone repeatedly until 2:30PM without an answer. Moving is a stressful experience, but I did not imagine facing such a situation. After hiring a professional moving company, I did not even think about making a secondary plan and was looking forward to a very hectic work week ahead. All My Sons did not even bother to call back or leave a message to update. Left with no option but to move, I rented a Uhaul truck (luckily one was available 15 minutes away) and started loading with my wife. Three friends came to help us after the SOS messages. All My Sons eventually called after 5:00PM, after we were done with loading and were ready to drive to the new location. I was told that they would make sure to call and update their customers about delays in the future, and apologized for the inconvenience to us and our friends. When I asked about help with unloading, they told that we will still be charged the full $350 amount. Upon reminding that loading, truck rental and driving are already complete, and the inconvenience we and our friends had to face because of them; they did not change. They sounded very confident to get the business and make profit from our difficult situation (we were already very tired with packing and loading, and it was late Sunday evening). Anyway, I declined their services and proceeded to unload ourselves. I will not recommend their service as they failed on several counts of professionalism.
I was promised 2 trucks and 4 men to move our belongs from our 3700 sq ft house to a neighboring town in Ohio around the Columbus area. At 9:00AM 3 men showed up with only one truck. The 4th soon arrived as he was "dropped off by the boss". Still, however, we only had one truck. The men began loading all of our belongings into the truck. They used dollys to load all of the boxes we had packed and wheeled them out of our old house. Around 11AM I began to worry that the 2nd truck was still not there so I called one of the managers (the 1st truck was almost full). He said he was renting another truck and would bring it by. At 12:30 the truck was full and the workers sat and waited for the 2nd truck to arrive. They tried to start the first truck and it wouldn't start...dead battery. Around 1:15 a manager arrived with a rented truck that the workers quickly began loading. When they were finished they could not leave because the 1st truck still had a dead battery in my driveway so we waited for the service truck to come out and jumpstart it. Finally at 4 we were on our way. Travel time was only 1/2 hour so we arrived at the new location and they began unloading.Almost every piece of furniture we own had some sort of ding or scratch or scrape on it. One door to a hutch we have in our living room was completely caved in and while uloading a worker broke a hanging light fixture at our front door (he didn't tell me, I had to notice it myself). My wife and I spend the next several days unpacking and putting all our belongings in our new house only to find that some things were "missing". I didn't think much of it, maybe they were in a box we had not unpacked yet, until my wife looked for her kindle. It was gone, but when logging onto Amazon she had 3 orders on her Kindle placed the day we moved...June 3rd!!!There is not doubt in my mind that someone stoll her Kindle and 2 of my watches, all 3 which were in our bedroom night stand.I am still waiting for someone to pay for the broken light fixture and hear from a manager regarding the missing Kindle.I have been reimbursed for my broken and missing items...I now consider this matter to be closed.
