YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This incident happened a few months ago. I should have put it on earlier. I went to the location on Waggoner Road . They have the same owners. I had to take my dog immediately to the vet after being groomed here. She had ulcers on her corneas from the soap they used. I went back the next morning with my bill and photos of my dog. I talked to Jamie who said she wasn't taking responsibility for it. She even told me my dogs eyes were like that when she came in. I was in shock. But then she said it had happened there before. She wasn't going to offer me anything. I got upset because I just paid $130 for grooming my 3 dogs then had a $130 vet bill. She told me to get out. Since they refused to do anything I put a stop payment on my check. I have heard from others they don't know how to handle upset customers so they either just hang up on you or kick you out. These are some pics of my dog
For-Paws Grooming & Boarding: DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER OR BOARDER IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT YOUR PETS!I never write reviews but I had to share this. I had used For Paws Grooming because it was close to my home. On two separate occasions when I went to pick up my dogs there was yelling coming from the back room. Not just raised voices, but actual YELLING and CURSING at the dogs. The second time I heard this, I asked what it was about and commented that it was concerning. Mindy informed me that it was the OWNER, grooming a dog! In the course of talking with some of my dog owner neighbors, they too commented that they had also heard yelling and were no longer using For Paws.I was desperate to get my dog groomed and thought I would try For Paws again so I scheduled an appointment, hoping that things had changed. Kelley, the owner, met me at the door and informed me that she did not need my business because I had questioned her morals. I explained that I was willing to try her again, that I knew others in the neighborhood that had the same concerns, and as responsible pet owners those concerns were valid. She informed me that she did not need our business! I was literally stunned at the lack of care and blasé attitude.I would recommend Adorable Dogs off Main street in Reynoldsburg: 614-866-4094. They love the dogs and are wonderful with them! Several of my neighbors have also switched to Adorable Dogs and their dogs no longer SHAKE when being dropped off for grooming. My dogs are like my children and I love them dearly. A grooming or boarding environment is stressful enough on pets. Yelling and cursing should not be acceptable in any circumstance! So disappointed in Kelley and For Paws.
Wonderful experience! My dogs had a ball! They texted me photos too! They all got a spa treatment the day we picked them up.
We took our pup there back in June she was about 30lbs then and they kept her over the weekend. They sent us text messages that our pup was doing well or something like that,we though that was nice. When we picked her up they had given her a bath and she was very sleepy by the time we got home. Now here is the odd part! i am sure they will know who we are unless they do this to other people as well, but we have called them 4 or 5 times since June always getting the voice mail. We asked them to call us as we need to board our pup ,so we can go to the Dr office. We can,t leave her alone or get her in a crate.. Not once have they called us back!!! We don,t know why. Was our pup a pain to work with? Was it me or my wife? Heck we do not know what happened.and yes I left our phone numbers on every call.. So has this happened to any of you? If we did that back when we had a small business, we would have been out of business! And no I,ll never call them again !
This is the only place I will trust with my dogs. They do a great job and my dogs are always happy to see everyone there.
I took my dog, Cuddles, a toy fox terrier, into All About the Dogs today. We just moved to Columbus and I knew that Cud would be nervous to be handled by someone other than the groomer she had her whole life. I was amazed by the friendly service and how the groomer we had made Cud feel less anxious. She usually won't take treats from strangers, but she gladly took one from the lady and left a happy dog. The shop was a little stinky (understandably, especially since a big dog was being bathed as we walked in), but that's the only thing negative I can come up with. Cud will coming back again and again!
Do not take your pets to this place. My dogs had a terrible rash and cuts and nicks from their grooming.
We were return clients with Buckeye for years. Their business side of things left a lot to be desired (not getting called back for days or weeks on a few occasions, not sticking to pick up times for my dog, etc) but my dog seemed to not have any problems when we took him there. Due to issues with groomers mistreating him in the past, we were very picky on who we let touch him. So this is why we continue to go to Buckeye despite the issues we encountered. However, earlier this year we attempted to get our dog an appointment for over a month. First they needed to call us back, then weeks later a recording stated they were out of town. We still held out for them and left messages, but never got a return phone call. The last time I tried calling them I was informed the number had been disconnected, and their business is just POOF gone! No warning or "sorry for making you wait for months for nothing", just gone with no explanation. Their business website is still up and running as to give the impressoin that they are still around, but they arent. Their store where the business was run is empty and we could never find a way to reach them again to complain. Im writing this because in the event they DO go back into business, I don't think I would take my dog back to be screwed over again. Because he was over a month late on his grooming the new lady we took him to charged a bunch extra for dematting and other things, which I feel is basically Buckeye's fault for being negligent and dishonest about their business going under. The new groomer (julies pet parlor in hilliard) said she was swamped with all of Buckeye's upset customers, and cant believe they did this to their clients. Me neither! Steer clear of Buckeye Groomers!
Nice clean shop. One dog at a time. Great grooming.
We have been going to Buckeye Pet Grooming for 3-4 years with no issues. On our last visit on July 10, 2012 we dropped off our 2 cockers and 1 cat. When I picked them up our female 10 yr old cocker had a limp and by the end of the day would not put any weight on her left hind paw. After visiting the vet it was determined that she had tore her cruciate ligament in her knee and requires $1,000+ surgery. Buckeye Pet Grooming has denied any wrongdoing and has refused to take even partial responsibility for the injury. We are very disappointed in how they have responded to the situation. Our healthy, active dog has had no joint or muscular/skeletal issues before now. When we dropped her off at Buckeye Pet Grooming she was fine, when we picked her up she needed major surgery. This leads us to believe that something happened we are not being made aware of. Obviously we feel that we can no longer trust them and will not be returning.
