Lived here for going on 3 years. Convenient to 315. Maintenance is done on a regular schedule. Don't have the problems as noted on other reviews. My 2 bedroom apartment is large and the area is convenient to bike trail, park, athletic complex and OSU. Riverside hospital is a mile a way and OSU about 2 miles away. Grounds are kept up and tenants and resident manager are friendly.

The Apartments are old and rundown but when I first moved in I thought ""Not sooo bad"". Then within the first week my car got broken into. Not the managements fault but when I requested the security footage and found out that the cameras were FAKE I was kinda irate. You can overlook the shabby building, and the fact the intercom doesn't work 1/2 the time, No parking, The weed smell that engulfes the building and the lousy property managers that they hire 1 after another but the ROACHES are hard to miss. Multiple complaints about them only resulted in 1 treatment and as you all know if the entire effected area is not treated...They will be back. When I signed my lease only my name went on it, I didn't expect to have roomates. My bathtub gets clogged up about once every 1-2 weeks and you better hope it doesn't happen on any day other then a tuesday because that is the ONLY day maintenance comes out short of a fire. Oh, I almost forgot, They only have heat in the summer and a/c in the winter. I literally went 6 months without a/c. From the beginning of spring to the beginning of winter. It wasn't until I put my rent into escrow that I got my a/c fixed the following day. But then they filed an eviction on me and I ended up having to pay $175 in court costs and $40 late fee. My car has gotten broken into a total of three times during the term of m 12 month lease. The most recent just a few hours ago. In conclusion, Olentangy Terrace apartments is the worst place to live. Not to mention they are overpriced. Stay away...Stay far far away!

Don't live here, trust me. This place appears like it use to be a nice spot at one point, however, it is now a college-punk dr*g dealer |nfested dump.
The owners of the building NEVER put any money into this place for repairs, so everything is broken or cheaply repaired. The front door is ALWAYS broken, so is the intercom, and usually about 1/2 the washer & dryers EVER work. Loud music is blasting 24/7 from the college punks and DR*G DEALERS who live in the building and the building manager NEVER does anything about it. THE HALLWAYS SMELL LIKE HUMAN URINE!! There are NO parking passes for vehicles to park in the parking lot, so there is NEVER ANY PARKING SPACES!! AND THE OWNERS OF THE BUILDING LET THE CHRISTIAN DAYCARE NEXT DOOR PARK IN THE OUR LOT. During the winter, they NEVER plough the parking lot sufficiently or lay down enough salt. And yes, the parking lot cameras DON'T WORK. Literally right now, while I type this, I can hear terrible techno music blasting from the apartment above us. During the day all you hear is SCREAMING KIDS from the daycare next door, and at night, all you hear is terrible techno and rap music blasting.
Stay away---Trust ME !! You'll wish you did !!

If not for the Doctor/Lawyer investment group that owns this building (amoung others) this WOULD be the best apartment building for the money in all of Columbus. If you never have any problems, fine, you'll never now. However, the slightest severe maintenance issue or discrepancy discovered (too late) on your lease, tough. These ghosts disappear into the shadows (illegal) and will not respond until registered letters go out. True, quite common today, but the beautiful building and nice superintendent don't lead one to believe that. Also, another ""small"" issue, but the complex next door is full of drunken OSU Frat/Sort brats whose parents have rented them townhouses for 4 years of off-campus partying. Be prepared to see the driveway covered in beer cans Sunday morning, and ""they"" occasionally sneak over here to commit vandalism... And, no, the parking lot security cameras DON'T work. For show only. (Won't see that on the lease, either)
