Going on my 3 year

I just renewed my lease for my 3rd year. I am really happy with my home. After having several bad experiences with other apartments, I have finally found a good one. I plan on staying here until I buy a home. I haven’t really had many issues with my apartment, but when I did, the maintenance guys came out usually in the same day to fix it. They really surprised me on how quick they were. My only complaint is that there isn’t much storage space in my apartment. But it hasn’t really been much of a problem. I am just growing out of my apartment. Over all I would really recommend this place.

No at all what I was hoping for...

Moved in about 9 months ago and have had issues with our Townhome since day one... the building its self was cheeply built, carpets are cheap and never look good after day one. they had to repaint about 3 times cause the painters were cheap and didn't do a good job (you get what you pay for). If you own a dog, you pay 250.00 deposit that you never ever ever get back even if the dog has never soiled on the carpet. the management and their policy's are confusing and down right unethical. they do not take care of crime, teens and adults of all ages drive around the parking lots at speeds of over 30 miles per hour and al the other review said, they never take care of the snow... and when they do, they push it up against the back of the cars in parking spaces. the list can go on and on, the only good thing is, we are moving out about 3 months before the end of our lease... if you want to spend over 700.00 for a crappy layout and horrible place to live then Alkire Glen is your spot...

Nice Place with Bad Winter Conditions

I'll start off by saying I love my apartment and the location. The office staff is normally helpful though sometimes it can be difficult to deal with.

The animal policy is great (as long as you dont have a dog that may look like an aggressive breed or if it barks at family members of staff) and its nice to have such a friendly community.

The house though very nice is not very air tight and we can often feel wind blowing through especially during the winter. They do not salt the parking lots and I have had my car damaged by another car with no witnesses or note, so we were unable to do anything about it. There is no security cameras and the lease states they are not responsible for damages caused by weather conditions. Also, they will only plow during significant snow fall which according to office staff is over 2"" but it was not plowed or sanded during the last storm

Other than the winter issues the complex is awesome!!
