This branch of JP Morgan Chase has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I went there simply to cash a check and get a cashiers check, since there is not a local branch of my bank within 2 hours, and was there for 2 hours and walked out empty handed. After being told that I could get a cashiers check by one woman I was then transferred to another woman who told me it was not possible. Then was bullied into trying to open an account with them by two people. After being there for two hours and feeling very frustrated and having my checks held from me I simply asked to have them cashed so I could leave. They denied my request since I was not opening an account with them and I walked out empty handed wasting two hours of my life. If I could give them negative stars I would. Worst experience with customer service I have ever had.
While I can't explain why they 'froze' your accounts, Chase operates like any other bank. Perhaps you should withdraw your money and put it in a mom & pop bank. They might treat you in a more courteous way, but since you travel, good luck finding their banks and atms. Chase has the most banks & atms than any other bank in the country. You don't want to deal with them personally, fine. That's why they have convienence tools like atm deposit & withdraws and online banking so you won't have deal with them...or is it the other way around?
this bank sucks! don't let them fool you. they suck you in making promises they cant keep. my husband & i push thousands of dollars through this bank each month, only to have them freeze our account/cards whenever they get ready. then they give us no explanation as to why this happened. its brain boggling, esp considering that we've never bounced anything nor been overdrawn. plus, our company that writes our checks banks with chase also and they are a multimillion dollar account. we travel with our jobs so access to a chase bank isn't always available. so as we speak we are 4 hours away from the closest branch w/ our account frozen and no explanation. needless to say i will be drawing out every penny and starting a new account somewhere else!!!
