Great Company!! Always onetime because they have been taking care of my mother for nine years and never had an issue.
I came in with a cause of dizziness and nausea. The front desk attendant was super personable and helpful. The nurse was very professional and helped me calm down when I was nervous about my symptoms. The doctor was also super helpful and extremely friendly. I was seen by both the nurse and doctor within 10 minutes. I was quickly prescribed mediciation to help me. I would recommend this Ohio health urgent care to anyone in need of a quick check up! The whole staff was extremely impressive!
Be aware, your physician will change as they graduate from their residency. I have liked some, not liked others over the years. Also, I rarely have issues solved when I need to request action on prescriptions.
I had been a patient of Dr. B's since 2007, but had not been sick over the past few years, so I had not been in to see her. Dr B is a great doctor, but the staff and procedures at Eastpointe need reviewed.I tried to schedule an appointment so I could get a referral to see my endocrinologist. I was told by the staff that I would have to wait almost 6 months for a 'new patient' appointment. Since I knew my thyroid was going wild and no longer in remission, this was not acceptable, and I was shocked that I was dropped as a patient for being healthy with no notice at all. After a migraine that sent me to the ER, I called back in tears, and Marcellous finally checked on a 'new patient' appointment with a different doctor. I was going to see Dr Williams in a week and a half. After arriving for my appointment early, I waited for almost 45 minutes after my scheduled time to see the doctor. Not only did she not apologize for being so behind, but she seemed rushed and did not address the page long log of weird things going on with my body that tracked over the past month. When I was at the desk getting my referral information, they could not find my prescription. As they were looking through the trash, I saw my log IN THE TRASH! What a waste of time. As I was checking in, I specifically said to Marcellous that the log on the back of the first sheet of new patient info needed to be in my chart for the doctor, but I learn after my appointment is over HE THREW IT IN THE TRASH!Again, Dr B is great, but unfortunately since I am no longer a patient due to not being sick and being in all the time, I will not return to see her or ANY doctors at Eastpointe. Very disappointing visit!

First they said i had a room, which i didnt. Once a room was identified 40 minutes later, had to wait for someone to take me to my room. Waited another 30 minutes. Now it gets worse. In my room at 3. All i need is an iv w antibiotics. 5 hours later still none and debating checking myself out and going to a real hospital.
This used to be the BEST Urgent Care in the area, however, they were bought out in September of 2014 by Ohio Health and the service has gone completely downhill. I saw a doctor for a total of 2.5 minutes, long enough for him to ask me what I thought was wrong and then say he would write a script for an antibiotic. This "doctor" didn't even bother sending a culture into the lab, therefore giving me a worthless antibiotic. I had to see my regular physician 3 days later and be prescribed a different antibiotic, as my infection was resistant to the original one. So basically I had to pay $165 for 2.5 minutes that were completely worthless to me and added three more days to my recovery/ I will never go back there.
Came in to because I was just not feeling myself. I was dizzy, nauseous, and excessively exhausted. The wait time was minimal the nurse was very kind and asked if I would like some water or something to drink while I waited. I said yes and she returned with a bottle of water. The doctor came in soon after and was wonderful as well. He talked to me for about 10 mins and really seemed concerned. He ordered some test that were preformed in office wrote me a script for my nausea, refered me to a primary care doctor in network , stated for me to come back to him if I continued to have problems until I got into the primary care doctor and then sent me on my way. I recommend Polaris Urgant care if you don't have a primary care doctor. The staff here is wonderful kind and really concerned about your health and well being.
I went to the er with severe stomach pains. The first doc thought i was fishing for pain meds and did nothing and sent me home because the ct showed nothing. I went again with same pains two weeks later had xray. Doc said stress belly even though I had rapid heart beat and temp of 100. White blood cell count up. Again thought i was fishing sent me home. Went to family doc and was told i have 13 kidney stones in one kidney and 10 in the other. This is what was causing my pain and fever and urinary tract infection. This new policy of assuming people want drugs is wrong. I was in so much pain and the er docs didnt care. They made assumptions. They also didnt bother to inform me of my stones even though i have a history of them and it was clear on both ct and xray. I am so mad at that policy because good people are suffering. Sad performance really sad
