Great gym equipment. If you are looking to burn some fats, you should visit this center and you won't get disappointed. Five out of five stars.
I just started yesterday and I like it. It cheap it $10 a month. I pay $6.00 for me and $6.00 for my aunt.
DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS ABHORRENT PLACEManagement are criminals and disgusting human beings. It makes me sick to be of the same species as the general manager and the owner. People like them and their business practices are directly responsible for the destruction of the American economy and the spirit of a free market. Anyone who contributes to these people are contributing to the very things we claim to despise about capitalism. Anyone who works for them is complicit and should be ashamed at how they bring people in with a smile knowing these figurative rapists are waiting to pounce on their new victims. Myself and several other people who have been violated by their incomprehensible greed are working together to bring this filth to the justice that will always inevitably find people like this (anyone who sows such putrid seeds will reap the reward eventually). If you have any doubt about what I'm saying please contact me. I have in writing everything these monsters have done. Once their true nature is shown you will recoil from the sight of them as if they were an abomination out of your worst nightmare. Please ask yourself if you're okay with slowly bleeding out what's left of America's integrity and self respect. If not, run away from these people as fast as possible. Update: They have proven themselves to be the most reprehensible people imaginable. I honestly never believed that a cabal of people with such clandestine motives was really possible.
Friendly staff, nice pool, much aerobic equipment, good selection of weights.crowded on weekend mornings.The place is clean, and equipment repaired when broken [big clue if not repaired that the place is closing]!! good place for the average person .
Pathetic unpleasant gym Mike & Julie are the worst folks you will ever meet. Unprofessional environment Mike will take half of the place and you wont be able to work out since he is the owner of the gym so that's for his clients Other members looked down often. Get a Grip Julie and Mike word of a mouth is very strong nowadays.
I am really happy at this gym. It's not as fancy as the others but it's very comfortable and everyone is really nice. The personal trainers are the greatest. Thanks Next Level!!
After my boyfriend signed up, I thought I would give LA Fitness a try. That was a huge mistake. First, I arrive to use a guest pass to try out the gym. I get stuck waiting for 10 minutes and then just told to proceeded the go work out and someone will find me to give me a tour and a 14-day pass. So sure I went on. No one ever acknowledged me, so I just left after my work out. Secondly, it's always busy and you're stuck waiting for weights and equipment, and their short, unaccommodating hours are no help. After 6 days of this my boyfriend when back asking for a refund, and the gym was understaffed no one to assist us at the front desk. Finally someone showed up and refused a refund because apparently there is one a 3 day return policy. How can your return policy be shorter than my trail period guest pass?!! needless to say I will be contacting corporate LA Fitness, who of course all is not open on the weekend.. Never choosing LA Fitness again. My club house gym has better hours.
Hated itThis child named Brittany who stands at the front desk is rude, disrespectful and because of such, this company is no longer worthy of my money. As a member since 2005 I was horrified by the treatment that I received today at the West club. The child behind the counter named Brittany was rude, in telling me that my original membership card was no longer valid, after being previously told that I would have to pay $10 for a new one. (That fee was discussed during a previous visit) They requested a photo for the membership to which I declined, then she asked for photo I.D. which I promptly gave her. She rudely told me that if I dont take a photo, then I could not work out there. I reminded her that Im certain the company would be displeased that a customer of 10 years would have to close her account due to being disrespected. I picked up my phone to make a call and she said 'Who are you calling? Theres no one to call. Im the owner' I said 'You own this club' She replied 'Im the owners daughter'. I said 'I dont care who you are, Im trying to make a phone call". And she kept asking WHO I was trying to reach as if it were her business to know that. While attempting to reach the person responsible for the account, she continued to tell me that I needed to take a photo or I couldnt work out there, its their policy and I must abide by such all the time. Im telling her 'Ma'am Im on the phone and Im not speaking to you. Particularly since you arent listening' She refused to give me my original membership card back unless I complied took a photo. Eventually she told one of the other workers to call the police. I guess being a mature adult and knowing when to shut the hell up was too much work for her insecure self to handle. I left and located the 'corporate office' number. There I was greeted by 'Bambi' whose initial response to me: 1)All members must have photo id 2)You should have taken your phone call outside I said 'The call I was making concerning the account? I was supposed to go outside and then come back' She said 'Yes' I asked 'And thats all you have to say?' She actually said 'If you really had an account open for 10 years you would have had a photo by now' I was furious! This woman was not only unhelpful she even questioned that our account had been open that long. All she had to do was look into the records. Perhaps my canceled checks will convince her. She said she would look into it. Since she was not there, she really cant say. I normally do no use this club unless its along the route of something needed. I have not had any problems or concerns with the East Club or the North Club as they are generally respectful and friendly. I will discuss this with the other person on the account and Im certain the consensus is that we close the account and shop elsewhere.
I went to sign up for a membership and was told I could not unless I told them my weight. I said no to the male trainer, I would not be tell him my weight. He told me he could not help me and refused to give me a membership! I am disabled and can not use machines or weights. I only wanted to use the pool and pool classes. But I was still told no.
I'm writing this email because I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at LA Fitness. I have been a member for over a year at my local club and have enjoyed my time there. However, I cancelled my membership today and will be sharing with all of my friends, family and co-workers how terrible LA Fitness is. Recently my debit card number changed and my membership at LA Fitness was on automatic bill pay. I was contacted 10 TIMES this morning with in an hour's time to give LA Fitness my correct credit card information. The number (714-379-9744) called almost every 10 minutes and Debra in billing left me one voice mail and then continued to call after I didn't return her message. I did not pick up because I was at work and am not allowed to take personal calls. I have never been late on payment. There was ABSOLUTELY no reason for LA Fitness to call me continuously. When I expressed my frustration to Debra, she said that your system doesn't necessary reflect that an individual has been called right away. If that is actually the case, I suggest you use some of the monthly fees you charge people to update your system. We are in the 21st century and I know that software and internet speeds are fully capable of handling such a minor task as keeping someone's records up to date.
