I left a less than flattering review earlier this week but it somehow isn't found here. Previously regular customer but not likely my family will return.
We are long time regular customers here but just had a horrible experience. On our last visit the cook appeared to be in a hurry. Our shrimp was not fully cooked and was still soft when served. My wife's scallops were bad as in spoiled. I ask a server to send the manager. He sent the cook out who wanted to argue with me! I then insisted on speaking to the manager. A man came to our table who said he was the owner. He also was argumentative insisting there was no harm. He did take my wife's meal off the check but she had no entree, just rice and vegetables. It will likely be a long time before we return here if ever.
Excellent food. Not too friendly; service is actually as good as it gets (self-service) Seaweed salad, if you ask for it, is excellent.
Upon walking into the restaurant we waited 15 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that was empty. The lady that was the hostess and our waitress asked us if we wanted a booth or to sit at the grill, I told her it was our first time there and wanted to try out the restaurant. She recommended the booth. Ok this was fine. She asked us before we were even seated what we wanted to drink. Again we had never been there and we haven't even sat down yet so I told her we were not sure and we would look at the drink menu. She came back about 20 minutes later to get our drinks, by this time we also new what we wanted to eat. About 15 minutes later she brought out a supposedly salad that had brown lettuce and a few carrots on top with a terrible dressing and some nasty soup. She still hadn't brought our drinks. She brought them about 5 minutes later. I took a couple bites of my chicken and steak combo with steamed rice and sat the plate to the side. It was terrible, I could cube meat myself and cook without any spices and get the same thing. It was awful and the rice was mushy. I sat my dinner off to the side and about 30 minutes later the waitress ask me if I wanted a box and I said no I didn't like the food so on the bright side she took it off of my bill. While my friend was trying to be nice and force down his also terrible food, I accidently spilled my glass of Pepsi. I couldn't find the server and finally I seen her with her head down at the hostess counter, she happily brought me some paper towels to clean up the spill. As we sat another 20 minutes waiting on our bill we left. Terrible food and Terrible service.
What a great balance of serenity and overwhelming the senses they have in here. The place smells so good and the food is fresh, what a good place to get your dose of some Japanese cooking.

WOW! What a great restaurant experience! My whole family loves the Supreme Buffet and Hibachi. The selection is fantastic. The food is always fresh and delicious. You can easily eat your moneys worth. The buffet includes something for everyone. You can also get steak, shrimp, and pork grilled to order. Also, customers can have stir fry cooked while you wait. **** Sushi is also included!The staff is always friendly. Thanks Supreme Buffet and Hibachi.Richard
It was a horrible experience.We just ate there earlier and the food has a piece of metal the spoon was dirty my son's mac and cheese has a piece of thread on it and the server doesn't know English at all. Never never recommend this to anyone, I was so unhappy at all.
