My wife and I did Rigsby's Kitchen on the cheap last night and had a very nice experience. Armed with a 25% discount on food and arriving during happy hour, we ordered the mussels appetizer and a sausage and potato pizza. I know. Strange combo, but it worked for us. The tasty $4 martini (Absolut) definitely enhanced the experience. The mussels were too spicy for my wife, but perfect for me. The pizza was made with fresh sausage, but I'll pass on the potato slice next time. We had excellent service and halfway through our meal the piano and bass began playing some delightful jazz. I can't believe I have to take off 2 stars. This definitely would have been a five star review 4 years ago. Their menu has changed to focus on only starters and sandwiches (which they do very well), but they also used to rock it the main course department. Please stop ordering the terrible generic salmon that you also serve at tiptop. My favorite dish used to be a salmon entree with corn and a cream sauce (I'm talking 5-6 years ago). I would love it if you brought it back. Still, I'll keep stopping iby in the meantime, but I'll be steering clear of the main dishes.
I was looking for a place that has healthier food for my sister and I to eat at and I found this place in the yellow pages. This is a cozy little place with unique and healthy foods, but they have a bar too!! The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. You have to try this place!!!
Great food, quick and cheap. Sometimes I just prefer a local place rather than a chain. The imperfections are the attraction. A TV screen has displayed so many football games that the screen is red. It looks like Atlanta is always playing Tampa Bay... haha. Love this place.
We tried Rigsby's for the first time last night. Wow, what great food. The servers were extra helpful and nice. You must try the Beat Mashpotatos. We'll go back (when we have an extra $100).
I loved the hummus. Well priced, great value.
