10 Stars! That's what I'd give Dr. Sherri Reed, Tom Harris, and the rest of the staff at Harris Opticians if I could. My first experience with them was over 10 years ago (I'd have posted this review long ago, but only recently got on to YP). I managed to scratch my cornea. It had been a couple of days and the pain was getting worse. It was late Saturday and my regular eye doctor was closed. My wife, who had been going to Dr. Reed for several years, had Dr. Reed's cell phone number and convinced me to let her call her. Dr. Reed agreed to meet me at the office on _Sunday_morning_ on her way to church. She examined me and started treatment. She warned me that if it didn't work, I'd have to go to a laser eye specialist to have the divot in my cornea mended. Her treatment immediately reduced the pain, the worst I think I have ever felt in my life. Over the next 3 months of close monitoring by her, the injury mostly repaired itself. Today, I'm only slightly aware I ever had such a painful injury and my vision has fully recovered.A couple years after the incident above, I was rear-ended on the freeway. I was hit so hard that the sunglasses I was wearing (which I had not purchased at Harris), despite hooking around my ears, were thrown off my head and thoroughly pretzeled. I took them to Harris on the off chance they could effect a repair. Tom Harris took them into the back workshop. About 20 minutes later he returned and my glasses were almost as good as new. I still wear them to this day. Oh, and how much did this miracle cost? Nothing! A freeby for a client.I have only ever received kind, knowledgeable, expert care and advice from all the staff at Harris Opticians.

The doctor I saw was nice enough, but there was an issue with the way that they billed my insurance that will keep me from going back. I went in for a routine eye exam to get a new prescription and mentioned that I had a known issue of seeing floaters. The doctor didn't do any additional testing outside of what is routine for an eye exam, but then coded the visit to go to my medical insurance because "floaters" were discussed. So, instead of it being covered completely by my vision insurance, I ended up having to pay more than even a typical eye exam would have cost out of pocket. I would have understood this logic if she "found" the issue of floaters. did any tests, or even discussed the cause, however, it was something I was already aware of and had extensive testing for previously. The person I spoke to on the phone about the issue was unhelpful and basically told me there was nothing they could do about it because of the way the doctor had written up the exam notes. This is something that the doctor should have been upfront about before even doing the exam instead of leaving me to find it out once I received the bill.
I am fortunate in that I go in yearly for my exam and then every 2-3 years I replace my eyeglasses. Therefore, I really only stop in once or twice a year, max. Every time I walk in the door it makes me smile to be greeted on a first name basis. When I go in for my yearly exam, I am always so pleasantly surprised to find out they stocked up on decaf coffee bc they remember it is what I drink. While waiting to get back to the exam, and even during the initial testings, there are inquiries into how the family is doing and how things have been going at work. The exam is complete and I always feel the explanations about each of my results are done in layman's terms, while the doctor is also open to questions or a my need for clarification. When getting new frames, there is no pressure to purchase anything and my questions and inquiries are always given prompt answers and/or solutions. The annual exam is usually done within the hour and my fitting and selection is usually done within an hour (unless I make the silly mistake of bringing family to "help" pick the right lenses!) When I run out of my supplements, I can email the office, and they ship it out to me! Visiting Northwest Vision is a professional, personal, and pleasant experience every time. Thanks, team!! See you in a year!
Molina Medicaid /// pays 4 up 2 18.00$$ They don't have @ big selection of frames @ that cost ... especially with no source of income .... see what I'm forced 2 do pay out of pocket which still is a lot
I was having eye issues and was sent to a neuro opthamologist and waited 4 months to get in. After still having issues I mentioned to NW Vision that I wanted to make sure Dr Min had gotten a report from the specialist. They had me come in and see Dr Sims since she specialized in binocular vision and in just a week I saw her, had comprehensive tests and she took her time with me performing testing to determine my double vision problem. Very friendly, professional, patient as is the rest of the staff. I started going to that office when I moved from my hometown and was referred to Dr Min by my former eye doctor in Toledo. Dr Min is also friendly, professional and patient and I highly recommend both of these doctors. They have state of the art equipment and I like that this means they don't have to dilate my eyes for exams since they provide this equipment that eliminates that step. Great selection of eyewear if you wear glasses.
The service at Eyeglasses wearhouse is outstanding. They mailed me glasses across state lines and were extremely easy to work with. They are super responsive. I would highly recommend them!
Lovely, clean, modern facility with state of the art equipment. Friendly knowledgeable staff and wonderful doctors. Five stars all the way except the wait times. Bring a good book......or three. Appointment times are meaningless. Allow several hours.
A very thorough exam for our 11 year old daughter. Dr. Breslow helped her feel very comfortable with the exam and explained things to her. She absolutely LOVES her glasses (her first) and talks about them constantly. Dr. Breslow explained her eye condition and how it might progress as she ages and what we can do to help her vision. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!
This place was great! I needed my glasses adjusted and not being a client wasn't sure if they could help me. I walked in and asked, and was helped immediately. The girl helping me was very nice and did a fantastic job on adjusting them to my liking.
Finally walked out. The first two times I had exams, I waited at least 40-60 minutes for my name to be called. When I arrived today, everyone in the waiting room was told "we're running a little behind today". After one hour, I decided I had had enough. This continuing practice is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and controllable. If you value professionalism, avoid Mid Ohio Eye at all costs.
