Dental Care

Vaccination
The pet health certificate lists your pet's vaccines and dates of administration. Different state and countries require different pet vaccinations for travel. Some may require microchip identification which is also listed on the health certificate, blood testing, quarantine, or other specialized forms.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
If you are concerned about your pet’s eyes or vision, we can refer you to a specialist. Ophthalmologists diagnose and treats a variety of ophthalmological issues, including but not limited to, dry eyes, cataracts, corneal infection or trauma, and glaucoma. It is important to report any changes in your pet’s eyes or vision during your routine veterinary visits.

Parasites Treatment and Control
What can I do to protect my pet? Heartworm disease is preventable! Dogs should be tested annually and before starting prevention. Provide heartworm prevention 12 months of the year. Prevention is the safest and most cost-effective option, but treatment is available for dogs (although costly and lengthy). Cats should be tested before starting prevention and re-tested as the veterinarian deems appropriate. There is NO treatment in cats, so prevention is critical and the only means of protection.
Pain Management
With your pet’s comfort and safety at the forefront, we utilize pain management protocols before, during, and after surgery until they are completely recovered. This includes monitoring of vital signs, assessing your pet for pain indicators and keeping them well fed, warm and comfortable in their surroundings.
Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Itching, scratching, and hot spots are all signs of allergies and skin conditions in pets. Just like humans, pets can be sensitive to irritants that cause them distress. Our team will diagnose and offer treatment for pets with skin-related problems including parasites, allergies, rashes, infections, hair loss, and more. When left untreated, some of these conditions can become serious health concerns.
Upper Respiratory Illness Treatment
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting needles into body tissues in order to relieve both localized and general pain and inflammation. The most common conditions treated with acupuncture include arthritis, developmental bone disease, disc disease and tendon or ligament injuries. Acupuncture can also help, nervous disorders, skin problems, kidney disease, diabetes, GI disorders, respiratory problems and much more.
