Had car trouble while on vacation. The great team at Enterprise, Columbus helped make a stressful situation much easier to deal with. They went way above the norm to help meet my rental needs. Good job Tiffany, Keith, Odell and Calvin.
I can compare this to my local Avis company that I've also used recently.Even with being a preferred member, it still took over 30 minutes to be serviced, staff went to lunch while still waiting, and car was not ready.On top of that, the USAA negotiated rates are pretty much negligible and there are ridiculous signs posted for things such as no parking on the lot, debit card users must bring in a utility bill or pay stub, 200 dollar deposit, and no fuel reimbursement.In comparison, my local Avis company on 3 different times of use were 30% cheaper, either had a 100 or less deposit, does not care if you use debit or credit card, fuel reimbursement, and each time it was less than 3 minutes on both check out and return.Enterprise used to be the best rental company for me but their standards have slipped so far that I now intend to do the extra 15 minute inconvenience of going to someone else.
