One of the worst customer service experiences I ever encountered as a consumer. Was in store as it was closing as we did not realize that it closed at 8 we were attempting to finish up and were asked at 7:45 by a sales clerk if she could help us find something quickly 2 times at this point I apologized saying I did not realize that they close at 8 then after my mom had already laid one pair of shoes on the counter to purchase and she was looking to buy another pair of shoes the lady whom I will assume as a manager said to one of her associates do they not realize we close at 8 at this time it was maybe 803 805 and I advised her we were finishing up but we could finish now if she needed us to and she stated what we do close at eight so I told her we would not be purchasing any of the shoes and would not be back I also advised the gentleman who held the door open for us that maybe they should close and lock their doors at 745 that way they wouldn't have to wait on any customers trying to attempt to make a purchase from their store. We then went next door to Kinnucans and bout 2 pair of shoes. If I can help it I will never go back to this store again.
Horrible Customer Service. Walked in. Noone even looked up to greet me.. I will not spend my money in an establishment like this. I was about to by 4 pairs of shoes, but that customer service needs to be worked on.
I Just left Shoe Show, I was over charged because the associate put my shoes in the wrong box, and she rang up the boxes, not the shoes. While out in the parking lot I noticed the prices were not correct. I went back into the store, where I was treated very rudely and spoken down to by the "Manager" Alana when I told her I was over charged. She took the receipt and looked at it compared to the boxes, and she said it was just a few dollars. I told her it was $10.00 plus tax, and it did not matter how much it was, because it was my money! She was rude to the other employee there and told her to go get the correct boxes, after the correct boxes were brought out from the back; she then started push buttons on the register. After a few minutes she told me, I had to have my Driver’s License in order for her to refund me. I explained to her that I did not have my ID, I rode with my son to the store. She said she had to have an ID to correct my purchase, I told her, she did not have to have my ID 3 minutes earlier while she was over charging me. I went to the car and brought my son in, apparently it does not matter who's id you have just as long as it was an ID because, his name was not on the bank card I used to pay for the purchase. She continued to be very rude and short with me, I told her just refund the whole order, her response was “what ever”. She started ringing up the refund. I asked her if that is the approved way to treat customers, that I wanted the Mangers names, she told me her name was Alana and she was the "Manager". If this is the way Shoe Show treats their customers, I will not go back. I vote with my dollar, and I suggest you do the same and stay away from Shoe Show. It is obvious the "Manager" Alana does not care, about losing customers or money for the store because of her poor attitude and people skills, but I bet someone with Shoe Show will care that $155.09 of their money was refunded because of her poor attitude and pathetic customer service. Store Number # 1428 Register # 1, 2/08/15 4:06:24 $155.09
Burnam has a wide selection of shoes for every price range. There seem to be quite a lot of low- end women's dress shoes and not so many mid-priced dress shoes. The sport shoe selection is the best I've seen in Columbus, GA.The staff is sometimes difficult to find and the cashier is mildly friendly.
