Please check out the complaints/ reviews against Lumber Liquidators before you buy! Unfortunately, we did not. We purchased approx 677sf ($3000) of hardwood BEFORE reading the complaints. We tried to return the product 2 days after we bought it. Sam, the manager told us he could not refund our money even though the invoice clearly stated we had 30 days to return it.He would only give us store credit. He told us to call customer service, which we did. Customer service tells us they will withhold 20% restocking fee(approx $600). Mind you we had the product less than 2 days. The restocking was on a pallet with a forklift.The invoice says returns are SUBJECT to a 20% restocking fee,( not there WILL be) I asked for a reduced fee which they denied.Asked to speak to supervisors that never returned my call.Also, the tailgate on our truck was damaged by their forklift. We did not make a deal of it at the time it was damaged, so I am sure they would deny it. I feel lucky still, that we did not make the mistake of installing their inferior product.We were told by the first customer service rep we talked to that we would receive our money back in 5 to 7 weeks even though their website says 3-5 weeks. Hopefully, this will be resolved without the attorney general! I feel this company is NOT consumer friendly. Once you buy their product you are on your own. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS before reading the reviews.
