All of these people suck bad!!!!!!! they all lie to you and say that you all beat your parents and call defacs on you!!!!!!!
This company is one of a few that the owners operate all under different names. One was located in Doraville, Ga under the name of Avantage Plus that was abruptly closed with out warning to patients or the employees. The other business that they operate is Angelle's Hospice and Palliative Care located in McDonough, Ga. This company has a extremely high employee turn over rate. The owners treat their employees like garbage! Talk down to them, tell them that they have several replacements lined up to take their places. Patient care is not their focus. The all mighty money flow is!! They pray before meetings and at the close of meeting for their employees to bring business into their company.. They are hypocrites! Need to pray for forgiveness for their behavior and the way they treat people!! Future employees RUN from them... Potential clients Rethink going with them, there are better options out there!
All of the nurse will lie on you and say that you beat your parrents or your love ones!! Do not use!
We hired Gentiva in March as my husband was dying from pancreatic cancer. The 2 reasons I wanted hospice was to help his last days at home be as good for him as possible. The other is that I known and experienced the "aftercare" given to family and caregivers after the loved one has gone. We had a rocky beginning. I think they are in transition with a lot of staff turn over making it more stressful on the caregiver/family member. We did settle into a short but good routine with a wonderful person caregiver and RN. The Chaplain officiated at our rather laid back, informal memorial wake. He was wonderfu!I am disappointed that the help I had counted on to help me work through the loss and grief has been nonexistent. I've been promised return calls and gotten none. There are apparently no bereavement or grief groups currently available in the Athens-Clarke area or surrounding counties. As with many service organizations in many fields, there are some staff who shine and others who need some polish. Overall i would rate Gentiva a 60% success rate. We never were able to take advantage of the inpatient services so that i can't address. I am still waiting on a phone call to give me guidance working through my grief. He died April 7.
