I would advise anyone seeking a divorce in Columbus GA to go far away to get your attorney and divorce. I was scammed in my divorce in Columbus GA. The opposing attorney, Lynn Grogan, (known unethical) brought a fabricated story and presented false witnesses to bolster the lie. I was mistreated at every hearing. My case had serious issues that were ignored in order to entertain a circus-like procession of spliced recordings and false witnesses. I was charged for things I did not do, financially ruined, and they took my only child from me. My son now lives two hours away from me, his mother and the innocent party, and with a perpetrator of domestic violence. I was completely demoralized in, what should have been, a clear cut divorce. Unethical and unfair in Columbus GA family court.

My advice to anyone seeking a divorce in Columbus,GA is to go far away from Columbus, GA to get your attorney and your divorce. Unethical, unfair, unjust. My divorce involved serious issues, but they were ignored in order to entertain a circus-like display of fabricated, false information/witnesses perpetrated by Lynn Grogan. They destroyed my life, and eventually took my only child from me. I did nothing wrong. My son now lives two hours away from his mother and with a perpetrator of abuse and violence. Lynn Grogan, John Partin, and Amy Walters among others, live with all the money they make. Truth did not prevail in my case in Columbus, GA.
A lawyer friend of mine recommended the Grogans, he has known Lee Grogan's father (also a lawyer BTW) for several years. I actually read some of the reviews and assumed that some disgruntled former clients were trying to trash them. Bottom line is I trusted my friend and and paid over $3500 for a retainer. They burned through that amount in less than 3 weeks (I kid you not) with nothing to show for the price paid. How do I know you ask? Because I fired them and demanded my file and they were unable to provide it immediately because they were trying to create the paperwork to show that they had actually done the work they billed me for. I demanded my file (and actually got it because I threatened to call some of my own friends around town) and have filed a complaint with the Georgia Bar. Best to find someone else!
