“Committed to being truly outstanding” is printed at the top of the business card of Troy Graham, general manager of Rivertown Subaru Auto Mall, Whittlesey Road, Columbus, Georgia, the location of my first Subaru purchase in May 2014. Troy Graham and all of the employees at the Rivertown Subaru dealership have been outstanding so much so that my purchase experience has exceeded my expectations and to a degree that has compelled me to write my first online review. Troy Graham, the general manager; Mr. John Saul, my sales consultant; and Mr. Van Wilson, the business manager, have most definitely lived up to Subaru’s commitment to provide the highest standards of product quality and to adhere to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Prior to arriving at the Subaru dealership I test drove cars at other dealerships in town, all of which left me skeptical about purchasing a new car. In particular the sales consultant at the Kia dealership was totally uninformed about the first car that I test drove. I intended to drive a second car; however, the Kia sales consultant took a cigarette break, so I left. In stark contrast to this experience was my next stop, the Rivertown Subaru dealership in Columbus, Georgia, which was the most positive purchase experience that I have encountered in my lifetime. Specifically, here are only a few of the many examples of the outstanding service that I received at Rivertown Subaru: Mr. John Saul met me within seconds in the parking lot and discussed with me the value of owning a Subaru. Specifically, he informed me about the Subaru XV Crosstrek which immediately caught my attention. Mr. John Saul’s knowledge of Subaru cars was impressive and in complete contrast to the sales consultant that I had encountered minutes earlier at Kia, who seemed to know very little about cars and even less about the value of first impressions. After the test drive and my discussions with Mr. Saul about the Crosstrek, I was totally convinced that the Crosstrek was the car for me. The high gas mileage, the overall look and feel and smooth drive of the Crosstrek, and Mr. Saul’s knowledge of Subaru and their standards and philosophy were what sold me on this car. Furthermore, I had no intention of trading my existing sports car; however, I changed my mind when the general manager gave me the exact dollar amount that I originally paid for the car that I owned for over three years. Moreover, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Saul were very well-organized and informative during the purchase transaction. The employees left me with the message that Subaru’s service to their customers does not end with a sales contract. In the days that followed, Mr. Saul called twice to make sure that all was well with my new Crosstrek. I drove the car for nine days, each day my satisfaction with the car increasing, before I was involved in an accident. At this most stressful time, I was more than one hundred percent satisfied with Mr. Troy Graham’s generous solutions during the car repair process and am most grateful for all that he did to help me so much so that I consider it a blessing. It was during this difficult time that it was most evident that Mr. Troy Graham stands behind the words on his business card: “Committed to being truly outstanding.” I most definitely trust and appreciate the employees of the Rivertown Subaru dealership in Columbus, Georgia. Someone rear-ended my 'Heavy Cruiser', an '06 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD about 4 years ago. Naturally, the driver's insurance had lapsed (Only in America - Land of Opportunity), but mine was in-force, so my agent recommended Frank's. Right - I go to the place the insurance company points toward to get a crappy, but cheap repair. But I was angry with the Dodge dealer's Service Mgr, so I gave them a shot. The rental was being paid for by GEICO, so if the job wasn't up to par - I'd just drive the rental around until it was fixed correctly. Much to my delight, Frank's had done a first-class job! Here we are, 4 un-garaged Georgia summers later, and you can't tell where the factory paint ended and Frank's began. It was so good that I had their appraiser give her the once over - a completely refinished BIG car for $450! But I had already sunk $250 in her because the AH's insurance had lapsed (even though he was also insured by GEICO, I still had to pay the deductible), so I decided to wait a couple of months - sure, they'd honor the appraisal if I (or someone else) didn't crunch her again. Time went on and she didn't get the rest of her make-over. The car is now freely and clearly mine. My first couple of what would have been payments will go to have Frank's do the whole enchilada. It is one of the few cars that is appreciating with every new month - thanks to the Daimler's C-Class chassis and M-B all-wheel drive. Yep, she's a keeper, as is Frank's. Cheers, AhWoooooo
Jerry's Body Works did good work on our truck but I was a little less than impressed that we were given a quote and told that is "All" we were going to pay and then when we get there to pick up the truck they tell us that they forgot to add in tax for the paint and ended up charging us more money than they quoted us AND wrote down on our repair paper. I don't think we ever should've paid it but my husband did. Additionally - it wasn't a huge deal, but we were planning on getting our truck fixed on a certain day and if we hadn't of called, we would've driven really out of our way to drop off the truck at this body shop when they didn't want us to drop it off for another week because their air compressor went out and they were waiting on a replacement. It would've have been better customer service to call us and let us know that we weren't suppose to drop off the vehicle. I'm just grateful that we called. All in all, they are a good shop, just need to work on their customer service a little bit. If you are pregnant or have children I wouldn't recommend going into the office, it smells heavily of cigarette smoke and it's very smothering. Another plus of this shop is that they detail your vehicle when they're done fixing it. The vehicle was done only a day past the quoted time which seems to be normal when getting a vehicle repaired so no big deal. Good service and good work. Would probably recommend to friends.
My name is JerriLynn and I bought a New Beetle convertable at VW in Columbus Ga at Carl Gregory, I've had it a month and there is an issue with the window, a sales guy there named John has been going above and beyond for us to resolve the issue! He has been keeping me informed on repairs and even lending me a loaner car in process while I wait, and he isn't even the sales person who sold me the car! So if your in the market for a new vw of any kind see John! He is so understanding and great with customers satisfaction! I will defiantly buy from him next time when I trade up hope this helps others deside weather to go there, also I noticed they have new macanics so what ever those other ppls tech issues are perhaps with the new employes there won't be any of those issues with your purchase :) like I said John has tarted us like family and I have no complaints thus far with VW have a bless day all!
Arrived at Rivertown on thursday morning. Dealership staff greeted me in a timely manner. I wanted to trade my Toyota Tundra in on new F150 Ecoboost engine. If you havent seen the videos about the torture test they put this engine thru you should watch before buying. That's what sold me on trading. Im now getting about 40% better gas mileage. Filling up about every other week instead of every week. The on screen MPG's does not seem to reflec actuall MPG's. I average 5-7 mpgs better than what the truck says. The transmission has a hard shift at low speeds. I knew this was normal when I bought the truck and I also knew that hard shift is natural for a truck tuned into high mpg's, high towing, most payload. Plus a hard shift means there is no play in transmission and it will not wear out as fast. I will definately do business with ford and Rivertown ford again.

We ended up going to a 2nd dealership for a price comparison and found a better deal, but we called Tommy back because we were so pleased with his service, and he did everything he could to get us into the vehicle we wanted. I was riding down HWY 315 one Saturday evening in my 2001 Chevy S10, and hit a deer head-on. My right-side mirror was dislocated and smashed, and my front bumper and headlights were all screwed up. Service was excellent. They talked me through the whole process and actually help me decide on a better idea than the one i had previously. I have a 2013 PW scion FRS and they painted the rear calipers, made a custom front badge and help paint TRUENO on the back. Everything looks great. Minor paint strokes which didnt make it completely straight but it was hand done not machine done so that happens. EXCELLENT work, will get more work done by them in the future.

We just got our car back a few days ago. We were pretty pleased with the work (collision repair / dent removal / paint) We have a lot of performance work done to our car. It took us several days of looking around town before we even felt comfortable with a shop. The owner here actually showed me his shop and worked with us with ever tiny detail that we wanted to ensure was done with our car. We got it back in tip top shape. We would recommend this shop
