I grew up in this church and the people are warm and friendly and support each other and help celebrate life. There is a true giving spirit and this small church also supports a food pantry for the less fortunate. They are there for you hrough prayer and action for the good times and the difficult times we all experience. Great little church!
Una Iglesia amante de la Verdad, que no compromete la verdad del evangelio, donde se predica la palabra de Dios tal y cual es, sin anadirle ni quitarle. Dios es Santo!!
If your homeless it's best you stay homeless rather than go to Passover Ministries. I lived there for many Months Pastor Sylvester Jenkins and Pastor Cory Atkins both are Lyres and thief's. They make you pay rent, utilities, food, and tides they pocket the money then they will let the lights and water get turned of for months the food that you pay for when you get it (if you get it) is half rotten and spoiled then you still have to buy you own personal food. any donations that come in you want get because Jenkins and Atkins takes it home with them. If you try and say anything about the mistreatment they will KICK YOU OUT and Lie to your Probation Officer to get you into trouble (IF your white anyway) If your black you can use drugs, stay out past curfew and fight. I'v seen this first hand. there needs to be an CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OPENED and both Jenkins and Atkins needs to be locked up and Passover Ministries need to be SHUT DOWN PERMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or taken over by someone who is really a person of God and wants to help others.
Started attending services in late 2010 and became a member in 2011. All I can say is WOW! What an awesome woman of God and an awesome ministry. If you're looking for preaching and teaching on the truth of Gods word and if you're looking for something real, this is the place to be. Our Bishop is a true shepherd and loves people and has a genuine concern for your salvation and your well-being.
A Church where people can come and worship and praise God and feel the Love of Christ when they enter. They Love people right where they are
Hello, my name is Will Warren. When I lived at Passover Ministries located at 1006 1/2 19th Street, Columbus, GA 31904 attending their church services was mandatory regardless of your own personal religious beliefs. Payment of $250 a month per white person is mandatory in full but the rental payments that are to be paid by the black people is not mandatory. I was assaulted while I lived at the Passover Ministries by a black man and he did not receive punishment for his actions. Quite often, white people are refused decent human respect by the leaders of the organization. Hello, my name is Tony Lee Roy Hunt. While I lived at the Passover Ministries in 2012 I was also assaulted by a black man at 1006 1/2 49th St in Columbus, Ga. A black man named "Big D" came after me with 2 knives in his hand and threatened to cut me up into little pieces for being in the bathroom when he wanted to use it. Several other of the black people that lived at the Ministry "ganged" up on me and was calling me "cracker" and "whitey" while Big D was threatening me with the knives. The police were called and I was allowed to get my belonging out of the house. I went to New Horizons on Talbotton Blv. and told the black people that are in charge of housing what had happened but they just laughed at me and treated it like a big joke. No charges were filed against Mr. Jenkins or Big D even though it was requested by me.
I enjoyed the service today that was stone upon my GOD almighty was a glorious worshiping service we had. must come visit again soon. Mrs Crystal Dozier/ Thornton
I love the mix of cultures, ages, and backgrounds. This is the first church I have been involved with where it doesn't matter what denomination you prefer. I love meeting people who grew up in different religious or non-religious circles, who now all feel like one church family. It makes me smile!
