The Stewart Community Home has been through some struggles, but it has made a turn in the right direction. The residents are cared for by a great group of staff who are very engaged in their jobs and make sure that all needs are met. It is an excellent place to be involved in.

I would not recommend this place for any girl. In the pictures given of inside are a lie. The lake they explain that is on the page belongs to the people on the other side of twin ceader. They do not own the lake. the staff, csi, hsp, and therapist are unprofessional. They call you names based on your past, etc. There Was an incident where a staff, (tiffiny) wrecked the whole home, tipped couches, threw papers, etc to fight a 13 year old resident, every child in the building had to push the staff out the building for the girls protection. Girls Harm Themselves By The things the adults say but nothing is done. They say everyone is accountable for eachother, but the thing is the girls can't even hold themselves accountable so how could they come into twin ceaders and stop dealing and grieveing with their problems while trying to keep everyone in check for their safety. So what I'm trying to say is Anne Elizabeth Shepard home, needs to be under severe investigation, very unprofessional.
Definitely doesn't value employees... The ones that work hard are the first to lose their job so that the executive director can keep his. Executive director has done little to improve the organization. He's rarely at work. Allows anyone to live there. Don't work here!
This place treats their employees like crap!
