Here's a little history. My child has been going to Children's World aka Kid's Club since they were six months old. They are nearly 12. Law says that a child under the age of 12 has to be under the care of an adult. Since I live in the sticks, this is one of the only daycare centers that would pick my child up from school. My child has been going there so long they have more seniority than the current owner, that's how long we've been there. I've always paid early whenever possible, but they've never had a problem with me.I am now being currently told that it isn't worth their time to pick my kid up anymore and I have two weeks to make other arrangements. This is by an epitome of incompetence by the name of Tiffany who, as proudly as she boasted her position as being in charge of management of the employees over all centers, is apparently too incompetent to figure out how to float one person for the max of an hour to accommodate a pickup to middle school.Over these long 11 years, I have not bothered to learn the names of about 80-90% of the employees who came through. They were never there long enough. One who found out where I worked went into automatic interview mode and asked if I would put a word in for them at my workplace, they didn't last the summer. The centers themselves are given no autonomy when it comes to how they manage themselves. They talk a big game just before the summer, but every low-cost but fun option the director had set up was almost immediately shot down by the owner.I saw phenomenal teachers leave one after the other.... over .13/hour. 13 CENTS!The CFO drives a flashy BMW though. Every time I've seen her at the center, she looks irritated and terrified she'll get something dirty on her.The owner himself seems nice enough but out of touch with his people. I had to witness a director being let go because one of the people under them was combination brown noser/gossip monger, they stirred up crap just to do it. Nothing I said could stop it.Then there is this Tiffany, the manager who doesn't manage anything, the one who pawns responsibility the centers don't have back on them because she doesn't want to take any herself. The one whose very way of saying "your child" makes you think your child must have knocked off a liquor store and threatened the president. After being told no less than three times what "my child"'s name was, still got it wrong. I don't understand why in the world they keep people in the top ranks who so obviously hate children, while those getting a pittance and making it work and loving our children under their care, get nothing.I hope this place goes under.

I would say working here or sending your child here is like meeting the devil yourself. The Jones are rude, self-centered, belligerent individuals. You will work so hard for so little pay. They aren't friendly to employees or the parents who come through this center. It's always work, no days off. No matter what you had to do, I felt like a slave. I never seen a director with whom I had to argue with over my paycheck (never receive full 80 hours) also, never seen one who sends nasty emails because a parent may be short of money. Please avoid this center at all cost, worst one in Columbia.
Please don't send your kids here. Teachers change frequently and staff is not certified. I've witnessed numerous occasions where staff didn't wash their hands before cooking. Clogged sinks and toilets. The owner has her favorites being the perfect kids. Your child will always be in the wrong. No one is perfect accept lots of love. YEAH RIGHT Please Please send your kids elsewhere I hate it took me so long.
The owner refuses to have the carpets cleaned and refuses to fix her playground equipment. We loved the teachers, but we refuse to stay at a daycare that won't keep the environment safe and clean for the children.
