My experience with this location and the way they handle billing and contracts has been an absolute nightmare. I receive different answers from every single individual that I talk to, and unfortunately due to the varying answers, I've had to pay for several months for a gym that I haven't stepped a foot in this calendar year. I am so disappointed in the customer service I've received.
Both of my kids attend this school. We have known the owners forever. Everyone that works there is awesome.

Equipment is lacking in quality as well as variation, very dark lighting for some reason, employees are below average in knowledge of fitness and also not very friendly. Very depressing and unmotivating atmosphere. 0/5 recommend.
Shannon and Jessica were wonderful to work with. It was an amazing experience to do the 6 week classes and see the transformation from life vests to swimming. I can't express how worth it it's been. With over an hour and a half drive and 4 children 7 and under, do it! It is worth every penny and every minute.
Joel is a great trainer and motivator. He is also very knowledgeable in every aspect of a workout and how to properly workout. He provides a lot of good advice on how to live life the healthy way. I loved working out with him. I keep signing up for more sessions because not only he is a good trainer, his workout routines have already had an impact in my body and mind.
Joel is very passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every session. His easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! Joel also places the highest value on correct form & technique with each exercise to ensure maximum results without ever risking injury. He will develop a plan specific to you, and tailor each exercise to your specific goals. He documents everything and tracks your improvements each time, identifying what works for you. Workouts are never boring, and there are always new and exciting exercises. He knows how to motivate me, he makes each of my training sessions challenging, but rewarding. Joel is always very encouraging and has a vast treasure trove of health and fitness knowledge. I highly recommend him as your trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals.Dubose Fitness gets results.-Brock
Love this place. I was hesitant to go it first. Wife talked me into getting a personal trainer. I've had him for six months and have seen phenomenal gains!
Really great service and extremely well informed staff. If you want to get all the information before you buy, go see them.
The JCC is a great place to work and workout. Everyone is really friendly and the atmosphere is great. There is something for everyone when it comes to classes and programs. It's much more than a gym, it really is a community center where everyone is welcome. That's why I love being here!
The JCC is an awesome place to work out. The equipment is always in good condition and there is never a wait, there is an indoor pool, child care is provided while you work out, and the staff is friendly and really gets to know you. I love that they provide towels so I don't have to lug everything I own into the gym. Lots of extras are offered too, such as Jewish food for holidays, classes and guest speakers, festivals for kids -- all included with your membership. And free coffee every morning! Lots of parking and a beautiful facility.
Pivotal offers month-to-month contract/gym memberships. On the contract you sign, it clearly provides succinct steps one must comply with in order to cancel that membership. You must send a dated and certified letter w/receipt (that is sent to your local gym) wherein you provide indicates your membership ID/account #, your name, and the date you wish to cancel. You must get that certified mail receipt signed and returned. Depending on when that letter is posted/received/signed for, your membership will take no more than 30 days to process your cancellation request. However, at this St. Andrews location, the contractual terms are disregarded. The elusive Ops manager (Christine Cavalerri) feels she can override legal contracts by making members appear before her for an 'exit interview' before she 'grants' your cancellation. This is not legal nor part of the contract. I submitted cancellation following my contractual guidelines that the certified mailed receipt was documented 10 days before the May 16th M-fee was collected. By June, 16th, another M-fee was collected and when I called to check the status of my cancellation request, I was told they are withholding it until I can find a way to meet with their elusive/incognito Ops manager BEFORE they will accept my cancellation request. No dice. I paid another $20 (so I'm out the June fee they were not entitled to plus this $20 for a total of $40 plus the $8 certified mail receipt) to put a stop payment with my bank. I invite them to illicit a negative credit report or pursue payment further because I WILL take them to court for skirting the contract. This has been a hassle and mark my words -- I will NEVER do business with this entity again ANYWHERE I live after this disregard for legal contract terms and obligations. These gyms whine when members don't follow their contractual obligations and then they treat their long-term customers w/solid payment history like this???? I recommend anyone take their business elsewhere because whether it's a 2-yr contract or a M2M contract, they will NOT allow you out of your contract based on the terms spelled out therein without a hassle.
