Disgusting food and awful management. Went to Yamato to celebrate my girlfriend's new job and we were really excited to get hibachi but the food was practically inedible. The white sauce was very sour and tasted as if it had gone rancid. The rice also tasted as if it had been doused in rancid oil. The chef and server were very nice but when I went to the managers and told them the issue they said, we'll look into it and walked off while I was still talking. They then stayed in the back of the restaurant, no where to be found and no help to us. They could have at least offered us some new sauce or rice but they clearly don't care about the customers. Will never return to Yamato, will try the other Japanese steakhouse down the road next time. All in all, we left with full plates and empty stomachs.
Horrible customer service sold me 2 entrees and refused to give me 2x cocktail sauce only 1 for 2 entrees and she couldn't understand anything I was saying and vice versa food was not worth the 30 min wait or the rude cashier
Fresh fish and shellfish at its freshest. I've been buying oysters and lobsters take out from this family-owned business for more than 20 years and never disappointed.
I've been here twice and i love the sushi! Very unique rolls, not too expensive for the area. I'd recommend this place to everyone coming to Providence.love this restaurant. Beautifully renovated, friendly and efficient wit staff and most importantly delicious food. And I am a sushi lover, fro sushi lover I would recommend this site http://yamatosteakhouse.comcheck it out, you won't regret it.
Need to change the advertisement saying today which is Monday 4-11 because the restaurant is actually closed Monday.
The jumbo shrimp and chicken gizzards were delicious. The honey mustard wings were tiny and literally yellow mustard on them. The fries aren't good at all. And the "Louisiana-style" gumbo is high sodium canned soup. Very poor customers service. The guy actually got condescending and rude when I ask for a different option or a refund. Had I known there was a no refund policy, I never would have dined there. "No Refunds" says they have no confidence in the quality of food they serve.
This is the only Indian restaurant I go to. Everything on the buffet is delicious including the desserts. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I think the price is great for all you get. Everyone should try it at least once!
Lisa @ the front register is AWESOME, the food is splendid, and I'm always served expeditiously and with a smile. Oh, and did I mention that Lisa was awesome!? (P.s. try the Eggplant Parmesan... It will change your life, thank me later.)
