Overall

My Advice..."Don't Do It!" They are the local repair company for SCE&G appliance warranty program (monthly premium added on to my power bill...3 day wait for a repairman to look at a dryer that wouldn't come on...ordered a motor...five days for part...2 more days to schedule return visit...didn't show up...when I called them...they declined the claim stating that it also would need a timer shaft and would cost too much to repair...I was told my dryer was 20 yrs old...It is 8 yrs old...they finally reconsidered and said they would now go ahead and order the part ...another 5 days... then they said that the postal service lost a large order of their parts and that my part was likely one of those...eventually, they sent a repairman out with the parts, who said that it was not the motor at all but a fuse...they would order the part and let me know in 5 days when they would be able to replace it...I asked SCE&G for the fuse # and that I would buy it myself in 30 minutes time if they would just send me the repairman to put it in...6 days later, SCE&G says that they have been having a lot of problems with the Appliance Doctor and their inability to get parts...SCE&G is now going to send a different appliance professional out to look at the machine...it has been 29 days to date. If it had been an option on this site...I would have given them negative 5 stars (-5)

Overall

Wow - seems like we are all having the same experience. They came out, said they would order a part and would be back in 3 days. It's been 3 weeks. The Customer Service reps don't seem to care either...

Totally agree with the rest of...

Totally agree with the rest of the reviews. I had a washer from Lowes with extended warrenty. This is who they sent out to do the repair work. Tech. didn't even open the washer, just from starting the machine said the pump was bad. It would be 3-5 days for the part to come in and then a day ot two to install it. Told them thank you as they drove away, called another repair service who came out that same afternoon. They came out opened it up and found a filter attached to the pump had gotten clogged up, cleaned it put it back together charged me $165.00. These guys estimated it would cost min. $350.00. I called Lowes RASING HELL!! Lowes made it good. Told them they needed to research their repair services, that it wasn't my job to do it.

poor service

they came out found out what it needed and supposedly ordered parts, kept telling me for over two weeks part was on back order. checked internet and called ge parts place here in town said they could have part in 3 days. they need to rethink customer service. i own two business and have a better grip on them then the owner does on his... poor poor service.... told em a week ago how to get parts faster. promised they would be in thursday its friday and same lame excuse. you are calling a business that doesnt care if you dont have your appliance fixed. chitheads....
