Went the on a Saturday night the food was good until I found a sharp bone in my food which I could've choked on or broke a tooth. It was the lamb Biryani which states on the menu boneless..the took the bone and said oh well things happen. Did not offer to take of the bill ....a discount would've nice but he did not offer. I told the waitress and found out it was his sister she did nothing as well. Do think I'll go back if that's how you treat customers.
Oh my goodness. What a great place for Indian food. My husband and I went there last night. We had the lamb biryani and chicken persis tikka. They were both absolutely wonderful. The meats were so tender that they melted in your mouth. The seasonings were perfect. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The owner came over and introduced himself and gave us recommendations, which is what we ordered. The serving sizes are large. We both ended up taking part of our meals home. Their prices are great, especially for the amount that you get. This was the best new restaurant experience we've had. We will be returning frequently.
It is the best restaurant in Columbia SC, definitely better than 2 gingers and Delhi palace and other Indian restaurants, though the food is a bit spicy, at least for me because I have heart burn, so personally i prefer less spice and less salt in the food, but others may like it. It is the authentic food you can get here in USA. They have more options in the buffet than other places, service is good, especially the manager is good. I go there every week at least twice and some times three times. I would recommend for anyone and yes I would go there again.
