A great family owned deli with an enormous menu with lots to choose from. Good quality and great service.
I have been ordering from Beezer's for years. They are consistent with the quality and freshness of the sandwiches. They are usually very timely as well. On busy days, they tell you when they are behind and to expect longer than usual delivery times. Give them a shot! Tasty:)
Save the time and go somewhere else! I ordered by phone and said Philly Cheese Steak and they wrote down Billy BBQ...how do you get BBQ from Steak or Cheese- I still do not know! The BBQ was not even good! I took one bite and spit it out. I called them to let them know the order was wrong and was told there was nothing they can do about. The manager did not even talk to me instead he had a messenger send the information. I guess there is only so much you ask from a company that only understands how deal with college students.
The best Deli ever!!! Bread is baked fresh everyday. The cookies are made from scratch and have won over 50 ribbons at the South Carolina State Fair! Daily Special is always a good value!
To say my family and I were alittle disappointed in DiPratos is an understatement. We read the review and checked out the website; even asked a cousin of mine in Columbia about it(and it must have been awhile since her last visit). The website makes the atmosphere look brick-walled dining; but its basic table n chairs. The website also makes it look like every table gets pita chips and pimento-cheese as a starter; even showing people dipping some at a counter as they wait---not so. We had a party of 6 with 1/2 of us getting sandwiches and the others getting pancakes. Small sandwiches with maybe 2 tbs of potato salad as a side and mediocre pancakes all for $71.00 !! My whole family was like,"we could've ate at Olive Garden for that!" I was expecting something different and enjoyable; what I got was nothing special.
Carolina Deli is the best deli in the whole world. They have the best customer service. The aroma of fresh baked bread, cookies, and cakes is awesome. The Daily Special is always a good value for your dollar. They cater business lunches, hot and cold meals. There website is: www.carolinadeli.com
I've tried to get in contact via telephone, and received only problems. Last evening at 10pm, I placed an order at the Beltline Location. I was unaware (and the person taking the order never informed me) that they closed at 10pm and everything would be transferred to their downtown location. I had to repeat myself at least 8 times when giving my address and the gentleman on the phone said it was because his manager kept talking to him. Then I had to ask him if he wanted my phone number, which I then had to repeat 3 times. I speak very clearly and was insulted and very frustrated at the fact that the person taking the order was simply not listening to what I was saying. After I placed the order, I was told it would be here in 30 minutes (no delivery fee was ever explained and I never asked because I'm in the Ft. Jackson area). My food was delivered at 10:50pm. 20 minutes over the time quoted. During the time I was waiting, I tried to call the Beltline location to see if the driver had gotten lost, and was told that no one at that location would answer the phone after 10pm. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I'd have to call in the morning after 11am. When I signed for the food, I was never given a reciept showing what I was charged for, but doing the calculations something didn't add up. I ordered 30 wings(which online states comes with 3 ranches), Cheesy Cheese Fries, and 3 extra Blue Chesses. All of this totaling about $25.00 before the cost of the extra Blue Cheese. I never thought 3 small cups of Blue Cheese would cost $5, but was never quoted a price when ordering either. When I recieved my food, 2 Blue Cheeses and NO ranch. When I tried to call to complain this morning, as I was explaining the errors from last evening, I was interrupted and told to call 803-319-1867, which came through as an invalid number all 3 times I tried it. I called the manager at Beltline back and she stated, "Well it works here, and I can't transfer you." She told me to go ahead and finish what I had to say, and told me I could come up there and get my extra ranch! I asked her to leave my name and number for her superior, in which she sighed and said "Fine." Normally, I would let instances like this horrible service I've received over the past 2 days as not that big of a deal. Unfortunately, I'm in the service industry myself and am outraged at the way I was treated by every employee (my count is up to 6) that works for Sammi's Deli. But to top it off the "Manager" at the Beltline location telling me I have to come there and resolve the issue myself was rediculous. I was never looking for a free meal from Sammi's Deli, and I was happy to pay for what I ordered. After the numerous encounters I've endured with being transferred, told to call later, or told to fix the instance myself, anything less than a full refund would be insulting. This morning, I anticipated an apology for the errors and the price reduced for the items I didn't recieve. I never recieved an apology, I had to mention solutions myself because the Manager apparently didn't care. I hate to assume that all of Sammi's Deli locations provide the same minimal, apathetic, and disgraceful services that I've encountered. I have never received such terrible, uncaring attitudes, especially from so-called Managers!
