Tommy is the largest PENIS WITH EYES IVE EVER SEEN!! His shop made a mess of my 2014 Mustang which has only 15,000 miles on it. The young lady that runs the Columbia office is awesome. That’s the only good thing I can say about my experience . I now have razor cuts in my glass, a bubbled up amateurish tiny job to say the least, scratches the full length of both quarter windows and I’m out 380.00 bucks to boot!! Trust you me this ain’t over I’ll see this sob in court! If I were u I’d steer clear of this moron and his unprofessional business. I feel sorry for his employees that are worth a crap because this prick obviously cares nothing about their future!!!
Great customer service, friendly staff, competitive pricing, and most of all great results! I am super happy with my car window tinting.
Had an appointment and was told 45 minutes. They left me standing in the rain for 5 hours, killed my battery, and no one here can drive a stick shift. I have delt with some truly bad business in my life, but I can say this one is the worst. Apparently there is no one in charge here..... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
AWFUL!! Got there 3:00 not done till 11:00 pm. Next days bubbles and peeling off. Took and back and had to make appointment. Went back and said no appointment and I had to wait behind 5 other cars. When I said just take tint off and give me my money back the owner got in my face and was very ruse and disrespectful. They are cheap but you get what you pay for.
Catherine Hardya month agoThe customer service was excellent. Not knowing what color tint, they advised on what to do. I could not be happier with the choice. I have used athe company for both my cars and my home. I would recommend to anyone.
Very unprofessional, got mad when I called back for the unprofessional work that was done. Listen, you get what you pay for. That's price of $65 isnt worth it at all. Spend alittle more and get real professionals to do the work. Which at first I thought the were. No Sir, they aren't by far. I will never go to that place again and to think I was going to recommend several of my family and friends. Find a real professional place, that's friendly, upscale and the work is done correctly the first time.
Epic Fail. So much time down the drain!!! My experiences were very negative. Out of a total of 9 windows I had tinted, 3 had to have the glass replaced due to damage they caused, and 6 have creases and/or bubbles throughout. I tried to have one of my vehicles repaired under warranty, but after they failed to fix it twice, I was forced to take a partial refund while they rudely yelled at me to get off of their property . After all of this they made sure to tell me I no longer had any warranty on either of my vehicles.
Despite not wanting to help put any more money in Tommy's pocket, a friend wanted 3M film for his car, so this morning we headed to Mr. Tint (Charleston) to drop it off. Well, apparently Tommy has enough money because he doesn't even have someone man the Charleston shop anymore. I mean, why even pay rent for a whole building if you aren't going to have someone there to tint cars, answer phones and give customer service from open to close?? Anyway, we showed up at 8:20am (knowing we were early), waited til 8:40 before calling, got the Columbia shop (charleston forwards their phones pretty much all the time since nobody is there) and the girl (Sarah I think) first implied it was our fault because we probably missed them since we were late. ❌ beep ❌ wrong answer since we were there 10 minutes before they were supposed to open. After explaining this to her, she told us that she would call the installer and call him back. Waited until 9am (20 mins later, 30 mins AFTER they are supposed to be open and 40 mins after we had been waiting!) and called them back. Girl in Columbia said that they have been "incredibly busy this morning" and that she would try to get the installer on the phone while we waited. She came back and said that there was a miscommunication bc the installer left the shop before 8 this morning since he had a commercial job to do and that they wouldn't have scheduled someone to drop off a car at 8:30 since nobody would be there. Custom Car Stereo has quality ceramic tint and now has my friend's business. Oh and before all of this, he called Mr. Tint THREE TIMES to schedule in the first place. Left his info first 2 times and was told he'd get a call back. Third time he waited on hold while the girl from Columbia shop called the installer to get an appointment time. Seriously, if you aren't gonna run the Charleston shop right, don't run it at all! Also, don't let the website fool you, they don't have locations in Aiken, Augusta or Sumter. Those are dummy numbers that go to the Columbia shop, so they look like they're big and reputable, but you won't get any kind of face to face customer service unless you want to drive to Columbia. Which, it appears is the case for the Charleston location now, as well.
I have a brand new car with less than 1,000 miles on it. Before I took my car to them, I washed it and hand dried it. It looked great and didn't have a blemish on it. When they finished with my car and pulled it around, they had the outside of the car wet, so I just looked at the tint and pulled out. After driving about four miles and letting the car dry off, I decided to pull over an see how MY BRAND NEW CAR looked with tint. I had bad scratches on both sides of my car. I went back to talk to the manager, who just happened to be the guy who tinted my car. He said that he hasn't scratched a car in over six years, but had a painted repair shop that he sent me to ask for Michelle and she would send he the bill.... I thought this was strange since he hasn't scratched a car in over six years, to be on a first name basis with the repair shop. They did a pretty good job trying to get all the scratches out, but some were to deep and they said that they would have to keep my car and repainted the two sides.... Nothing is as good as the paint job you get from the factory so I just told them that I would live with it... Just a bit of advice, if you like not having scratches all over your car, stay away from these guys.. My first and last time ever using them.
First things first. I have had all my cars tinted with Mr Tint, and never had any issues. If I should rate that I would give it 5 stars. But yesterday I had a bad run-in with them. I visited them because I was inquiring about applying carbon fiber overlay (a foil) over my hood to give it the appearance of a carbon fiber hood. You can get the wrap at amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotchprint-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl/dp/B0058DIDTY ) for under 20 dollars. I watched a video on youtube and their installation was under 1 hour. NOW. Here comes the kicker. I asked MR Tint how much they would charge to install the foil. Not them purchasing it. Just installation and they quoted me 600-700 dollars. REALLY??? For what? I dont understand how they can justify such an outrageous price. Its wiping the hood down, laying the foil on your hood, clearing the bubbles and done. 600-700 dollars for less than an hour work. I`m sorry, but that seems like a major ripoff....I really hope they get their act together..... P.S. I can get a real carbon fiber hood for under 600 dollars. Just saying
