I had been a patient for many years until yesterday. 3 days ago I was called by the oﬃce while driving there w/my daughter for an appt& told that my daughters account had a balance of more than $600.00 going back to 2015. Even w/out my EOB's & bank statements I knew that just didn't sound right, as I haven't received a bill in quite some time & when I do I have to provide a copy to my ex per our divorce decree. I always pay any remaining balances w/ them in full at time of service. I was literally just there w/ my daughter a couple of weeks ago & told I didn't owe anything at the conclusion of her appt, & the claim for that date is still being processed w/ my insurance company so I have not received an EOB or bill yet. No prior balance was mentioned at that service, & nothing was mentioned when I made that appt for my daughter, or when I subsequently made my appt for yesterday.Their desk sign says payment is due at time of service, so the idea that a balance would roll for multiple years, through multiple subsequent services, never going to collections & never been collected for at time of a service, is ludicrous. When I asked for details, the individual on the phone said that they didn't have that info, & that the oﬃce manager was working remotely that day. When we arrived they kept my daughter in the waiting area for over 30 minutes while they called the oﬃce manager, who refused to talk to me, & they continued to ask me for payment, but refused to provide me w/ EOB's & I at that time had no access to my bank statements or insurance info that would give me some indication of where they were arriving at this ﬁgure. I knew some of the info was inaccurate. They agreed to waive the ﬁnance charges & let me check my records, so we left. The next day (yesterday) they called & said that they put copies of my insurance EOB's in the mail, & that once I had a chance to review them we could reconvene next Monday- I still have the voicemail.
This roofer ran off with our insurance money. Never got our roof on and stopped answering inquires. Asked for money back, Still have not received it. Looked him up on Casenet and he has four or five lawsuits.
Just moved to Columbia and I could not recommend this dentist more. Staff was amazingly friendly all around. I had no problems at all! None. Not any with my paperwork or my insurance. I have never had a dentist that went through all of my X-rays with me and made me feel so good about my dental hygeine. The dental hygienist was so friendly, I was sad when she said that she was finished and Dr. Cheong was going to be with me - until I met Dr. Cheong. She was just as pleasant as the hygienist. 5/5 star service.
Hadn't had a problem in years first visit to fairveiw I supposidly needed all these fillings for areas I couldn't even tell had any decay, took their word came back for the app not only did it take him over a hr and a half to finally start work and that's the time I spent in back waiting in the chair not counting waiting time an the time to not even complete what he was scheduled to do he was rushed the hole time didn't numb me properly, then after that I've had to had a sister dentist office work on what he screwed up 3 times now and it's still not fixed! I'd rather deal with my wisdom teeth again than the pain this office has called me I'll be perusing further action to have this resolved even it if means court. I would think even give them 1 star but it makes me.
Terrible. I spoke to a lady named 'Megan' and tried to set up an appointment. Using my husband's insurance (had great benefits), I tried to make an appointment over the phone. Megan was very rude, not helpful, and only wanted my insurance information for verification. I even offered my husband's HR specialists number for any clarification, but wouldn't even take the time to call for a 2 minute conversation. I don't understand how people can be rude, when they are trying to bring in new business. Do they want to fail and turn people away? We are fully covered by our insurance and can afford dental care and yet, they offer poor customer service. I wasted over 30 minutes of my time to make an appointment. I called another dentist office and voila! appointment made in 5 minutes! It's unfortunate that I was unable to even meet with Dr. Cheong, when I've heard great things about her. ridiculous.
I would give them no stars but had to give them 1 to comment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! I found them to be unprofessional, unreliable, borderline unethical, and lack total communication.
Dr. Hamilton does not believe in undue pain for his patients. He also participates in clinic work with the same philosophy, professionalism, and excellent bedside manner.
I had great hopes for fairview. Very slick and modern set up. But they charged premium prices and did poor work. They charged me 3 times what my former dentist charged for my crown. And the crown fell off. For a cleaning, I sat in the chair though no less than four workers (they tend to breeze thorough so fast I couldn't keep track) asking the same quest ions, before they got around to the cleaning. I know that they give you your own television to watch but it only added to the confusion with a dozen tvs in the background, by the time I got out I was mentally exhausted. I would have preferred a more personal touch for the price and less flash.
