I started visiting Dobbin Dental because of a friends referral, and it's close to where I live. The technicians were always kind and knowledgeable. The dentists seemed to always suggest that I have my childrens baby teeth filled, which I don't plan on doing. And one dentist even did my exam without gloves on, I didn't notice until he was done. Another issue is how large the office is, which makes it difficult to get a timely appointment, and there's no privacy because the exam rooms are only divided by a half wall. Also, if they decide you've missed or cancelled to many appointments, they ban you from returning to their offices without warning.

I have been a patient at Dobbin Dental for over 25 years. Apparently that does not matter to them at all. What horrible customer service by their front desk staff and office manager. If you get any work done here, make sure they send a pre-treatment authorization through your insurance company, and that they dont just give you one of their estimates done in the office. I can understand that they can't give exact estimates, but expected that perhaps plus/minus 10 or 15%. They were off by over 70%!!! Thats over $700 in my case. When I questioned this, the office manger told me that I should have told them to send the estimate to insurance. Gee, had someone told me that when I was given the estimate I would have done it! But now its too late and they have billed me over $700 more than what they estimated. And the response I get, with no empathy at all, is well is your insurance, how were we supposed to know what to bill you? What???



Dr. Satola is a truly excellent dentist. Too bad she works here where the office manger and staff are rude and abrasive and their billing is an absolute nightmare. This 25+ year long customer is NEVER going back.
