I have had four missed delivered package since the first of 2017. Sometimes up to three days later three of the packages were found and the latest was delivered opened by a neighbor who had erroneously.received it. I also frequently receive neighbors', and if possible I reinsert it into the box for resorting otherwise I deliver it myself to the door. Their passport times are changed frequently and are arbitrary. Wife and I resorted to using the post office downtown on Pikes Peak. Unfortunately, site defaults to 1-star. Staff should be retrained or fired, site closed and responsibilities divided between locations that can accurately deliver mail and respond timely to customer complaints of inaccurate deliveries; process passport applications during hours displayed. I processed mine at Pikes Peak post office in about 20 minutes and wife in less than 10 the next day. Start with management.

Twice in the past 4 months I've shipped registered packages to be delivered through this location. Registered packages are supposed to be the safest way to send high end items. Obviously mail carriers through this location do not follow the rules they were trained by. Both times, my packages were signed for by the mail carrier themselves, and left at the front door. The first time this happened, this location did not even follow up on the complaint. Today, the mail carrier lied to the supervisor stating the recipient of the package, gave him permission to leave packages without signature. Total lie and needs to be relieved of his duties. I paid to have the package shipped registered and I expected it to be signed for by the recipient, not the mail carrier!
Today we went there for passport applications, hours published are 1:30-3:30 pm. Very inconvenient for working people, so we had to take that time off from work to be there in time. When we got there at 3 pm we were informed that the person who is doing passport applications is not present, so we won't be able to get it done. He said that he'll be back around 3:30 pm, but then it wouldn't be within the passport hours anymore. If someone told me that, I'd actually think this is a joke, but not when you're dealing with USPS! Someone apparently is just leaving when there is no one there to cover. No wonder USPS is bankrupt. Unfortunately it's the only place in Colorado Springs to get a passport. Thank you for wasting my time!!!!!
This post office has abysmal customer service. Arriving just a moment maybe before closing, waiting in line for almost 20 minutes, only to be told I had to leave because they were closed after the person in front of me. One envelope to mail. Customer service is 99% of the experience. This location needs a few lessons.
I will be filing a formal complaint against this post office. It's a poorly run post office with rude employees should get no stars. Have a hold mail become a nightmare, they lost my mail including a government check.
I would give this place no stars but apparently I can't do that so they get one by default. I've been on hold with them so long my phone wend dead. When I try to call back from a different line I get a busy signal which means they just took the phone and left it on permanent hold so they wouldn't have to be bothered. Its been about 30 min. now so I guess that one person I was told was ahead of me Is most likely a figment of the schizophrenic postal workers imagination. Just..WOW!
Worst post office I have ever dealt with. Been using them for 15 yrs and just keeps getting worse. Rude, VERY slow, damaged packages, lost mail, unfriendly, on and on... I would rather sit in a dentists chair for five hours than stand in line at this post office for more than five minutes.
So on 12/24/2014 I mail 2 Christmas packages to my familys house. Note this isn't the 1st time I used USPS to deliver my package to this same address. So 1 makes it to its destination while the other is returned to me cause the address didnt exist? (10) days later it's returned to me and it was truly a blessing cause the package was holy....LITERALY!? 3 giant holes were on box with contents damaged!? The mustve been a NFL game in which they had no ball so they improvised. Thank you.
Letter sent in Priority envelope was delivered to Colorado Springs in error (by the postal service). @ weeks later and no one can find my envelope. Colorado Springs has not been responsive, nor have they handled the letter in question in any way that could be considered proper. It had a tracking number with a proper address that did not belong to them and yet they can't tell me where it is.
It's no surprise that all the other United States Postal Services are rated only 1 star as well. I've had acceptable to lame service from the USPS throughout my life and different states I've lived in but the Colorado Springs USPS takes the laziness cake. Five times now, FIVE, our "mailman" who is the laziest I've ever had the misfortune of having, has not even tried to actually deliver our packages, FIVE packages, FIVE separate times. Our apartment is literally not even a 30 second walk from our mailbox, but whoever the guy is that runs the circle drive mail should be FIRED. This guy is so lazy, he can't even spell my name right, or even try to put all the letters in my last name, even when it's a common woman's name (There's 7 letters, not that hard to spell). He's even seen me in person, out by the mailboxes, while he was hastily and carelessly stuffing mail in, and while there was an obvious violin in a package for me, even while I acknowledged that I was me and that would be going to me, he was even too lazy to even acknowledge me, and of course scribble one of USPS's pathetic "sorry we missed you!" cards, again. They just write those so they don't have to actually do their job, and we have to go get our figgin packages ourselves for the FIFTH time. I have a few more coming in the next few months as well, if this guy isn't fired and still working, I GUARANTEE you, he's not even going to try to deliver them, per his usual pathetic lazy work ethic.
