These people are very unethical !!!After telling me I could move in and giving me a date. They gave my room away!!! Who does that!! I sold my car and house hold furnishings they left me out in the cold! This facility is not to be trusted!!!
This review is for the Point of the Pines Gardens ASSISTED LIVING CENTER, at330 Elkton Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80907(719) 623-4549I live out of town & couldn't oversee my friend's treatment and care. I was upset that this place allowed my friend's blood sugars to be untested, or tested at random times, with the Lantus being administered at odd times to the point where she had to be hospitalized 3 times in an 18-month period. She was given foods that were overcooked, mushy, tasteless, canned, mostly carbohydrates, to the point where she wasn't getting proper servings of fresh, or raw fruits & vegetables. She kept losing weight. When I was able to get in to visit, I was introduced to Rhonda one time and Marla another time, who both seemed friendly outwardly, but neither had an explanation for where the cards I'd sent my friend were, or why she wasn't getting her first class mail. The room was hot and stuffy. After she continued to lose weight, became weak, was consistently down-cast, she had to be moved to a safer, better facility.
This is an upscale facility. They offer great amenities. The food is served regularly and is always healthy. The activities are always fun and they keep me social. The facility is absolutely gorgeous.
These facilities are great. They cared for my mother as if she was family. They worked with her medicare which made it extremely affordable. I will recommend to my friends and family.
This is an excellent facility. I would recommend it! They have wonderful staff, fun activities, and beautiful decor.
Thank you MorningStar at Bear Creek for taking great care of my mother! I always feel that she is well cared for and loved.
