I have never been treated so poorly by medical staff in my life. After waiting 2 1/2 months to receive a follow up call to schedule my new patient appointment I was finally contacted and told they would not see me until December (it's May 5th). I explained that I recently moved to CO and have lupus and currently having a flare. I explained that I had previously declined medication due to pregnancy and nursing, but needed to see a Dr as soon as possible to asses the proper medications to help treat me. Since my previous Dr is in CA, it is not an option to see them.I was put on the phone with Julie Roberts who did nothing but belittle my situation, overtalk, interrupted, and displayed the most grotesque behavior I have ever seen come from a professional. She argued with me and was combative. After attempting to try and speak SEVERAL times, I become so frustrated and told her that her behavior was inexcusable and completely out of line and I would not tolerate it. Her response was that the office couldn't meet my needs, and good luck finding a dr. At that point, I told her she was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with in the medical field and told her to go fuck herself! If this practice tolerates this behavior and treatment from their staff, I can't even imagine how they treat you as a patient. The Drs at this office should seriously look into their staff. Julie Roberts is the office manager and her responsibility should be to hear patients concerns and work to find a solution. I would never pay money to get treated at this facility.
WORSE practice in medical history! My appointment was cancelled against my wishes because i called to confirm my appointment as a responsible adult should. They said since I have medicaid as a secondary insurance they cannot take me because Dr. Cristescu won't accept it. I saw Dr. Cristescu once 2 years ago and their office policy states that since I saw him once I have to stay with him and cannot be switched to another doctor. I do remember he was a very poor doctor. He was not knowledgeable and he hurried me out as if he had better things to do than tend to his patients. To put the cherry on top, their receptionist lost my original medical records and now I have to request them all over again from NIH and Johns Hopkins, I also have to pay to have them released...again. If I could put zero stars to this review I would.
Dr.Cristescu is HORRIBLE. Unprofessional, borderline nasty staff, forces you to see doctor you don't like, is pushy, then doctor tries snap diagnosis without all the facts, tries to start a bunch of drugs without explaining what they really are (just a heads up an antidepressant is not a vasildialtor), calls rx into wrong pharmacy and then when you decide this just isn't the doc for you, you have to be on hold for 20 mins to cancel the appt and then get hung up on. But wait! There's more--after you tell them you are not coming back, they waste MORE of your time (because you don't have enough to do trying to find decent care) by sending you a certified letter you have to go to the post office to sign for terminating your "doctor-patient" relationship?! Worst quack I've ever seen.
