Young Scholars Academy has become family to us! Our children have attended YSA since we moved to Colorado Springs in 2017. We moved to Peyton 8 months ago and still drive out of our way to take our daughter there. We can’t recommend this daycare enough! The staff has been great over the past 5 years! They truly care about building a great relationship between the children and parents alike. Their curriculum is great & very diverse, and truly prepares your child for Kindergarten and beyond. They are consistent in their teachings, and enable/encourage your child to be independent. The fact that we see most of the same faces of the staff over the years tells you what a great environment the children are in, with low employee turnover. Their breakfast, lunch and snack menu are very diverse and the children are taught to take a “no thank you bite”, which helps us tremendously at home getting both of our daughters to try new foods that they might otherwise just tell us they don’t like, without even trying it. I’m jealous of their summer camps, they have so many activities for the kids, they are NEVER bored during the summer months. I am retired military and have had experience with quite a few daycares, including some home daycares with 3 of the 4 kids, and would place Young Scholars as #1 on my list of centers we’ve attended. Their hours of operation accommodate almost all schedules, their teacher to child ratio is great, and the fact they make Best of the Springs consistently is no surprise. My daughter loves to go to “school” every day!

The best!

My son has been going here since we moved to Colorado a few years back and I couldn't ask for better people to care for him. He loves all of the teachers and they treat him like their own. The summer program is great and I really love the organic food being served in the food program. YSA is definitely above the rest!

Me and my son love this place. They are like family. They go out of there way to make the kids feel important and loved they even remember my sons favorite food and was sure to make it for him a lot. We never had any problems.

Thank you! We are very happy!

We just moved to CO Springs and were looking for quality child care. Young Scholars Academy is so much more than childcare. My 3.5 year old made a flawless transitionwith with the love and support of the teachers who really do care. My daughter comes home from school singing and talking about what she did all day. She wants to go to school and has such fun she hasn't realized how much she has learned, but we sure have! I can't express my gratitude and happiness enough with Young Scholars Academy. My youngest daughter is 1.5 yrs old and she waves goodbye to me because she is happy to go to her class as well. She is talking more and more, doing animal sounds and the other night at dinner, she was "singing" enough of a song for us to know what song it was! Her teachers are so kind and loving as well. I am kept informed as a parent and have great communication with the teachers and management. I am so happy we found Young Scholars Academy!

Former Student Rave Review!

I am writing as a former student of Young Scholars Academy. I can say with complete confidence that this center shaped my character and gave me knowledge later in my school years. I started in the preschool program at Young Scholars at the age of 4 and attended for years until is was too old (to my dismay). In those years I learned sign language, Spanish, math and science, you want it they teach it! What I loved and remember vividly was my teachers, friends and the Summer Camp they offered. I LOVED IT! If you want to have your child experience culture and view the world around them I recommend this program . During the summer camp we went on hikes, museums, summer swim lessons, parks, did pottery, it was absolutely amazing! One time our teacher gave us ostrich when we were doing our around the world curriculum! Yuck, but it was still fun and memorable! I will never forget my summer camp years and preschool years at Young Scholars! Going to visit YSA after all these years I am completely impressed by the classiness of the center as well as the educated curriculum that is incorporated every day. When I have children I will by no doubt in my mind send my child here in hopes that they will grow into the person we all wish to be! I would give more stars if I could!

They are AMAZING with my CHILDREN!

As a mother of two, a pre-med student, an overnight emergency veterinary technician, and a military navy wife, I recently found Young Scholars Academy during a time we were in desperate need of a sitter. We had recently moved from the Northgate area of Colorado Springs to be closer to our family in Stetson Hills. I called and Denise was immediately able to get me in for an orientation on the SAME DAY! My children were able to be watched that same day. I am not usually a last minute person, but the stress of finals was adding up, and I will be enrolling shortly for a very competitive medical program. The staff was very welcoming and involved with my children. Their setup is absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in through the door. Their quick log-in system is computerized and fool-proof. They have a fireplace and warm cozy decorations for Christmas that instantly make you feel cheerful. They have a menu of all the food items your children will be getting throughout the day, and are very careful of allergies (my daughter has issues with peanuts). Their classrooms are very welcoming for young hands and bright minds. Activities and toys are literally at every corner of the room. Artwork is posted on the walls, and their daily activities are posted on the door, along with a take-home sheet that you will get upon pick up of your child. My children are two and four years old, and another highlight was their ability to work with my child who we have in cloth diapers. Our family is always on the go. I absolutely recommend Young Scholars Academy if you have children! I am very protective of my children, and what they do when I am away, and the activities they are doing really matter to me. I am very thankful for them, and how they have helped us out! I will be using them for sure when my husband does his drill schedule in Guam, and any possible deployments.

Home Away From Home!

From the first second you walk in the door, to the minute you leave, the sights, smells, sounds and smiles will have you wanting to stay! Happy children are proof that something is right. Parents are cheerful about leaving their kids. The office staff is always willing to help. The teachers strive to make the parents and children comfortable. Young Scholars Academy is involved in the community and offers a food bank and help to needy families. Craft fairs, pasta dinners, food baskets, bouncy houses and face painting...you name it! Healthy, happy fun where a child can grow and learn and be ready for school and more!

Why go somewhere else?

Young Scholars Academy is the most warm and inviting place for not only the children to learn but where the parents feel welcomed and comfortable and just like family! So why choose somewhere ordinary when you can be at the best!

Best in town!!

This is hands down the best center in town. The care is outstanding but even better, they focus on school readiness.
