I was told by their receptionist that they not only install but also service Rinnai tankless water heat systems. When the technician arrived and I described what my unit was doing he spent half of his time trying to build a tool he needed that helped hook the unit up to a gauge, the rest of the time on the phone with Rinnai trying to diagnose and solve the problem.

After 2.5 hours he said that the next steps they were asking him to do would take too much time and the he would need to reschedule. The estimate for the repair was around $700 when he returns and his bill was $235 for an incomplete job and unresolved problem.

I called and asked for the manager to see if we could somewhat negotiate the charge. He has not returned my repeated phone messages.

Highly recommended... quick, reliable service when Lennox furnace blew circuit board the morning of New Year's 2012, a Sunday. Parts were on their truck and we were repaired before noon, service guy was particularly nice.
