Transit has portable plant capabilities, a complete quality control laboratory certified by the Corps of Engineers and American Concrete Institute, and it has metric batching and reporting capabilities. Transit Mix maintains four coarse aggregate quarries and two sand pits in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colo., areas that make it a premier supplier of concrete, asphalt, landscape, masonry and roofing aggregates as well as compacting materials in southern Colorado.
