My elderly mother has taken her car to this business for several years because she found them in a senior citizen book, and their ads emphasized that they were a Christian business. The oil changes seemed to be fine, but the owner began claiming maintenance issues of over $700, when she has gone in recently he tells her she needs to have under the hood power washed at $130, she had a part broken by a tire company, she took it to Lighthouse, he took the part and told her he would look for a replacement and call her in a few days, three weeks later she contacted a lady in the office that told her how glad she was that my Mom called back because she would get the issue taken care of immediately, going on three weeks later, no word! She drives a 1999 Infinity which holds four quarts of oil, they charge her for five quarts and her bill was over $132, they jack the price up and then deduct their $25 'gift certificate'šBroken down $58 labor, parts $81.29, supplies $9.58 plus tax, in my opinion this is deceitful and I will be certain she never returns except to pick up the part that they supposedly are still looking for six weeks later. This is taking advantage of those who do not know any better, I don't trust them.
We just came in from out of town and needed some work on our radiator before we left town that next day. The owner worked with us to get us taken care of quickly and was so nice and professional! We would highly recommend this business. Great to work with.
This place is awesome was in town on vacation and had a headlight go out and they stayed open after hours to get us taken care of I wish there were more businesses willing to go to that extent for their customers considering they even fixed extra stuff that was wrong for a VERY reasonable price :)
Very courteous and quick took my car to get door removed rylan took one look did one better and got the door unlocked instead the car accident pushed the handle against the lock he fixed that i was able to do the rest. Very affordable and professional
i brought my car in to get the timing belt and water pump changed as well as a full tune up. Wade and Raylan went above and beyond at the shop. I also want to thank the mechanic Gary especially his expertise with cars has my car running better than the day i bought. Lighthouse automotive provided me with superior customer service and the absolute best mechanical work i have had done in Colorado Springs!!! I would recommend this auto shop to any and all in and around Colorado Springs 11 out of 10.
I went there with my chrysler 300, it was having transmission problems, and few other things, Rylan understood what i wanted and the price i wanted to keep the repairs at. They fixed the problems addressed, even taking a $400 cut so as to keep it within budget, Also the repairs were taking a little bit longer than expected, rylan offered to cover the cost of a car rental....Good, Honest, Customer Loyality Shop!!!!
I went to these guys in a pinch and they really helped me out tremendously. I went in and they got me in fast and I didn't have to wait long to get my vehicle looked at and worked on. I looked all over the internet and found great reviews and this convinced me to give them a try. I am so glad I did because I had went to other mechanics that really didn't want to help me out and I can say these folks are your one stop shop for all your automotive issues and preventive maintenance. Provided by DexKnowsI must say that I've always avoided going to a mechanic because I've heard so many stories about people being sold services that they don't need or being blatantly lied to about things that were wrong with their vehicles that weren't. Thankfully, the owner and operator of Lighthouse, Rylan, is a mechanic of a different breed. Him and his technicians thoroughly diagnosed my 2007 Subaru Outback to discover all problems, and when they were done, there was no pressure to perform all the maintenance right then and there. Rylan discussed the options and started with the highest priority to the lowest, and was totally willing to work with what would work for my budget. I ended up having them replace my brakes and flushing my transmission, and when they were taking it for a test drive to do a quality check, they noticed a vibration that wasn't caught in the original diagnosis that was being caused by a bent muffler rubbing against the drive shaft. They quickly put it back on the lift and fixed that issue too. I am highly impressed with the quality of work that was done, and I'll be using Lighthouse Automotive for all my future mechanical needs because Rylan makes you feel like a person, and not just a customer whose sole purpose is to give him as much money as possible. Thanks Rylan, and keep up the outstanding work!
After going through two oil consumption tests with a General Motors dealership to find out why my truck was using oil that it never had since it was new, we were told that we would have to replace parts totalling around $5,000.00. Rylan suggested a few options that did not require replacing parts and what he and his techs did was only a fraction of the cost, doing this has not only restored performance but also increased mileage by 2.5 miles per gallon so far in just local city driving. Thanks guys you have restored my faith in local shops!

This company is the best in Colorado Springs. The owner is the best. There service is great and the work they do on your car is super.
I have dealt with lighthouse automotive on 3 seperate occasions. 1st was when I had to replace a seal in the transmission. The quote was exactly what I paid. Three weeks later I had a rear end problem. without them knowing exactly what the issue was they gave me a.n estimated quote which was only off by about $65.00. This third time that I've come back to lighthouse was to have my tires mounted and balenced. I have the ability to get them done cheaper elsewhere. But the satisfaction in knowing my money is being put in the hands of an honest company. Too bad not everyone knows about the folks at lighthouse automotive
The owner Rylan Blair claims to run a christian business. In my opinion it is not. I took my vehicle there for a major repair. The original estimate was $900. Two weeks later the cost was $1,900. Everytime I called for a report on the vehicle, I was told it would cost more money to fix. The car was never fixed properly. It ran worse after the repairs. We had another mechanic check the car and was told Lighthouse Automotive lied about most of the repairs. I felt when talking to Rylan a sense of incompetence and deceit. Beware so called Christian businesses. They think you shoul tithe to them.
Wow....I was blown away with the service, the kindness and the honesty..I had more damage done to my car then I even knew and I was promptly notified that there was much more done...Most repair shops say that with nothing to back it up. I was told what exactly needed to be fixed, and how much I could get it for....You could tell that Lighthouse Automotive was built on honesty...Being a Veteran of the Iraqi War, I was repeatedly told thank you for my service...When it came down to the bill, I explained how I have been hurting the last couple of months, and was met with nothing but the upmost understanding...I will never forget the way the job was handled, my car runs great and I without a doubt use this shop, and recommend it to anyone I know that needs the slightest repairs...If you want a great job, timely fixed, a step by step of how your car is coming, and treated as a human, not a dollar sign, then I strongly encourage Lighthouse Automotive. I first went to Lighthouse Automotive 4 1/2 yrs. ago and really like the service. After moving back to Colorado it was THE place I decided to go to have my car checked out. I was remembered even after 4 years, the service was timely, indepth, a reasonable price and most of all Honest!! I like supporting home owned businesses and when they are so good it's easy to go back and encourage others to give it a try.

They were pretty quick, totally honest and they didn't cost much. We tried them because they have five star ratings in Yahoo's local thingy and now I can see why. They don't have all the glam and glitz of alot of other shops. I felt like I was at a shop my dad used to take me to as a kid and as it turns out, they're just as good, because my dad actually just told me so after I recommended Lighthouse Auto to him. I guess we've turned into a Lighthouse family too!
I've owned cars and had them fixed in the Springs for 20 years. Rylan over at Lighthouse is the most honest and skilled mechanic I know after 4 years going to him. I send my daughter there and don't need to worry that the bill is gonna magically go up and I know he's a decent Christian guy. I go to Lighthouse Automotive on East Platte and nowhere else now. They handle everything on all our vehicles.
