I'd recommend going elsewhere for your dental needs based on the following:
1. The care is poor on a number of levels. My wife needed bonding done for some sensitive areas and Dr Arnold did the bonding, but not correctly. The pain was still high and the bonding did not work (and we paid for this service). We went to a different dentist and he re-did Dr Arnold's bonding no issues and bam...sensitivity gone.
2. Dr Arnold says her practice is "family care"; however, they're not setup to take care of kids, even though they'll lead you to believe they'll take care of your kids teeth. We made the mistake of believing Dr Arnold when she said my kid's teeth were fine, she did exams every 6 months for a couple years. Low and behold, my son complained of serious tooth pain so we took him to a different dentist and found out he has 8 cavities. He needs 4 crowns, which means the decay had been there for a long, long time. We had seen Dr Arnold just a couple months prior and she said ALL LOOKS GOOD. When we called to discuss the matter, there was nothing but blame and deflection of responsibility. Fair enough, but I must warn current and future patients: BEWARE.
3. Their billing process is as bad as it gets. My wife had a procedure done in early Sept and we paid in full up front and were told they would bill the insurance company and we'd receive a check for whatever the insurance covered. OK, that kind of makes sense, but that's not how it works at any other practice. Months went by and I called the insurance company in Nov and found out Dr Arnold's office never billed our insurance. So round 1 of many began of trying to get the billing sent. They sent it several times, each time it was missing information, forms were incorrectly filled out, etc. They finally gave up and asked me to send all the information to the insurance company. It's almost 6 months later and we still haven't received a check for the portion covered by insurance. They don't really care about billing since they were already paid in full, but I'd like everyone to know that you don't have to pay in full up front for procedures. Let them hold the bag on getting the insurance to pay. The need the motivation to get it done.
There are plenty of other dentists all over CO SPRINGS. I'll be surprised if Dr Arnold is in business much longer, they're failing on every aspect of dentistry.
Everybody told me I was a good looking guy. But I never thought so. I'm tall, have amazing hair. I have all the right parts in all the right proportions. I look great in a uniform. My best is my eyes - and some say - my mouth. I never thought so. Why? Crooked teeth! My family dentist suggested braces and I went for it! It was sure different but remember, you have to remain cool, calm, collected through it all. The orthodontists at Interquest Denttal Group were the best and they have a specialized braces cleaning program that is both fabulous and a good deal. At the end of the 6 months braces smile make-over, I am so happy! For the first time in my life my nick name is GQ and I'm a chick magnet!!
I moved around a lot when I was young, and dentists were always ""interchangeable"" to me. However, Dr. Arnold's practice has changed that perception. I've seen Dr. Arnold a few times now, and I love the office, the people and the service I get. Everyone is professional and really gives that personal touch that makes going to see the dentist a pleasant experience. I've recommended Dr. Arnold to all of my friends.
